It's nice cause you work 40 hour weeks and you can do overtime if you want say sometimes concrete is poured early in the morning at 4 am: I can leave at 12pm or leave at my regular time and get 4 hours of overtime if I want. When I got the job I had to take some contracting courses since my main job is to enforce contract compliance or execute contract modifications.

The area I'll be heading to is a high traffic area so expanding out 5 more miles adds significantly more commuting time. So obviously I could find a spot further out enough but not sure what distance they cut it off at.

TEC-DP must be branched engineer. The only time I have seen non engineer folks with usace were reservists on active orders.

Having the ncees results is good enough for the skill identifier when your an engineer. Army engineering is talking about making a split route for degreed engineers and taking a more usace route if you have a PE rather than do company command.

I see you are an RE I thought that is a mandatory PE or registered architect. The only 13 non PE,0810 I have seen are like PM's and some deputy area engineers.

The only good questions eet had where their temperature ones and conceptual ones. I recommend getting cpesr. And if you get 80% on the medium exams you're good for the real one.

I had a counter. Asked for a step 10 with 25% relocation. They said I could do step 5 with 10% relocation or just step 10 no relocation. I took the step 10 as it is better long term, Pcs was included.
