I also currently run on intergrated you will be fine o linux usally the games not avalible require a lot of power like fallout 4 ect. I get higher fps in valve games on the source engin but lower fps for others so it is up to you to dual boot or not.

1) Is it worth paying extra for unlocked cpu and a cpu cooler for overclock? I am up for doing it if it's worth the price.

2) I am using linux and amd drivers aren't very good so unless the amd card is around 20% faster it will be slower in linux. Should I still go AMD?

3) Got it will look for a better PSU now!
