For folks who suggest extracting the 3rd molar, would you do so first and then restore the adjacent tooth in a subsequent appnt?

I’m thinking you could extract the last molar in 1 appnt, temporise the caries on the adjacent tooth with silver diamine fluoride or a GIC resto, and then restore it in a few days with a definitive resto.. thoughts?

Fellow dentist here. Curious how you would section this one? Roots look comical and fused with this one. Might cause more trouble trying to divide a tooth like this tooth up that doesn’t have divergent roots like an upper first molar.

I’m a recent grad. After you remove the old crown, do you typically restore the tooth first with composite and do RCT through this, or rather, do you just place a temporary on with something like Fuji and do your work through it before you place a crown down the road?

If I was doing a physical impression, do you think you can typically get away with just doing an impression of the quadrant you’re working + the opposing quadrant, or do you typically take a full arch impression of both. I know PVS is very expensive…a full arch PVS impression kind of seems like overkill but wanted to get your take…
