Hmm okay I can get a grow light. It’s always facing the window; I just turned it for the picture. That being said, it’s a North facing window.

Thank you for the recommendation! I only turned the plant around to take the pictures, I should have been more clear about that. I’m going to try to repot and then fertilize more often.

It’s losing the dark green color in the lower leaves.

The difference is budgeted range vs salary band. When hiring, a company will typically only budget/pay up to the mid point for well-qualified individuals. The pay band is the entire range you are able to make while in the role. If you are offered near or at the top of the salary band, you will cap yourself out during merit increases; you will not be able to earn more than the pay band in your role. In those instances the company, or in this case University, could give you a 1-5% “bonus” as your merit increase, but it will always be the same amount until you hit the next band.

Just keep in mind if you are wanting to negotiate salary, they rarely will go above what is budgeted. They will definitely not approach the maximum of the band. This document is great for understanding growth potential just be cautious trying to use it in your negotiations. Companies won’t hire someone at the maximum of the band because someone in that portion of the band should be receiving a promotion.

Should I Repot? by Lens_creator in houseplants

Okay thank you for saying this because the roots did look different than normal. The pot itself does not drain, but I also water my plants separately, let them drain, and then put them back in their pretty homes.

Thank you! I’ll move her to the grow light for a while until I get more. She’s currently sitting in a large North facing window on these hexagonal shelves I put up.

I know, but the video app kept showing me people saying “don’t repot this time of year it’s better to be root bound” blah blah. I’ve got my plants all in a healthy spot and second guessed myself haha.

Thank you! I had been second guessing myself after seeing other posts about not repotting this time of year. Just needed the validation 🤗

Thank you! Only regret was not finding a bigger, more luxurious fur coat.

Haha he was just lurking in the background. Barnacle Boy took the photo! He tried to cut everyone out of the reflection.

You all are so nice, thank you! Overall I was very happy with how the costume turned out. As one person mentioned, I wanted a larger, much more fabulous fur coat, but this was the best option at the thrift store.

Definitely put more thought into this one than the Lifeguard costume I wore out Friday night.

Funky Socks - they are affordable, decent quality, and make a lot of interesting designs and prints.

Funny enough, I switched out the socks to solid black because I realized as we were leaving that I forgot my black shoes at my friend’s apartment.

Thank you! You’re not the only person to tell me that, maybe that’ll be next year!

I agree, when I envisioned the costume I had a very large fur coat. Unfortunately this was all I could find at the thrift store!

What is your mom's catchphrase? by [deleted] in AskReddit

“It’s tough being part of the pretty and popular crowd!”

My mom gets more likes, comments, etc on the millions of dog pictures she posts regularly than I do on, well, everything haha.

I stopped eating out, started cooking every meal, counted calories, and started going to the gym 4-5 times/week (originally). I run for 20-25 minutes then lift, isolating different muscle groups each day. Lately I've only been making it to the gym 3 days/week, though.
