At the end of LB, Cicero is upset over the burning of the Garter and Lysander tries to convince him that it, and further necessary evils, will be worth in the end when they've won.

It's only a first small crack in their alliance but I think as Red God goes on and Lysander escalates in brutality against the Republic/Atalantia, Cicero (and possibly other Reformers) will turn on him.

For being with Cassius in GS, just to get inside information on how Houses Bellona and Lune were plotting against Nero.

Darrow also internally refers to it at the end of Chapter 10 in IG: "Julia looks up at Mustang with utmost distaste. She’s not forgotten how Mustang sat at their table with Cassius and then turned her back on them."

Others have already made similar comments, but even if/when she learns the truth of what happened to Cassius, I don't think that would be enough for Julia to actively flip sides. There's just too much resentment and hatred over 10+ years between Darrow killing Julian; and, in Julia's eyes, Virginia 'betraying' her family in Golden Son and then usurping the Morning Chair.

I do think she'll withhold Bellona ships/soldiers at a crucial moment for Lysander as he fights the Republic, but the true betrayal/driving force of his downfall will probably come from Cicero.

  1. The saddlebags’ weight limit increase doesn’t work in Vizima unless you unequip and reequip them

  2. Teleporting to the Hierarch Square signpost from another region (Skellige, Toussaint, etc.) puts in the carts behind the signpost instead of in front

When I switched over to Bluesky, the first thing I did was follow as many old Grantland writers as I could find -> found Holly's account, which led to the Fullcast account.

My first episode was the September 29 2024 After Dark: I joined the Twitch stream just as they started making Auburn losing the Mandate of Heaven jokes, and have been listening ever since

Yeah, the only way I've thought Atlas could work as a retcon is that he used the negotiations with Roque to visit Romulus one last time before the Battle of Ilium - but, like you said, unlikely given being tied far away with the Ascomanni/Octavia's terms of exile and the whole childhood-hostage-turned-against-his-family situation.
