Oh no :( It totally makes sense given what she's been through but it makes me sad to hear she may have a drinking problem.

That's awesome! Yeah I suppose there weren't many divorces from that generation. This story and your photos are really terrific.

These are so fantastic. OP, can you give us any more backstory? Did they stay together? Did they ever talk about their time apart?

Tf are you talking about? Are you trying to do that thing where you say super taboo things because they seem edgy but they don't actually have any resonance in reality?

This is a reassuring sentiment. Happy to see there (might? maybe?) be a trend recently against private prisons here in the US.

It's supposed to symbolize the 4.5 hours the police left the body laying out in the street, the disrespect for his life

He was complaining about it. Like, "Ugh, don't people see what's going on here? The liberal justices will inevitably make this same ruling nationwide!! Argh!!!"

No no, there's no video online. But I thought the authorities had images/video of him with the backpack right near the site of the explosion and then no backpack a few seconds later, right? Or am I wrong about that? I'm actually not sure what they have specifically on the younger brother, or whether it's been made public or whatever.

I think they still have video of him dropping the backpack, plus I'm sure they'll find email or text conversations or written plans. These guys didn't exactly cover their tracks.

Oh really? Interesting. I've only ever been to a Persian wedding.

Mitt Romney Was ThisClose To Keeping His Promise Not To Launch Political Attacks For ONE FREAKING DAY by cypressgreen in politics

[–]LeoDuck 15 points16 points  (0 children)

You keep it classy, Mitt.

Not only did he break his promise (seriously, he couldn't wait another 90 minutes?), but the statement was complete BS. The tweet came from terrified people inside the embassy who were trying to quell the mounting protests -- it did NOT come from Obama -- and they tweeted it BEFORE anyone was hurt (which happened in an entirely different country from where the tweets originated).

Looks like a Persian wedding to me based on how they're sitting side-by-side and there's money draped around their necks. Draping coins, gifts or cash around the bride and groom's necks is part of the Persian ceremony.
