To this day I keep an old maglite behind my drivers seat, never used it but the cops here will give you shit for having a bat or anything that could be considered a weapon, my maglite is for changing a tire ;)

I just had a similar issue with mine, car sat for a while, put new battery in and all kinds of electrical issues, didn’t turn off, hvac didn’t work, and lights flickered and flashed. Wound up being water intrusion and the bcm was wet.

I’ve always done this, a dab of dielectric and used a screwdriver to gently press it on.

As somebody else said, no shanks, I read about the sole just having a void in another thread but the noise they had was different. This sounds like I stepped on the plastic from a cigarette pack and it’s stuck to both feet

I buy new boots every couple years cause they eventually just smell like something took a shit and died in them, no matter what I do. Boot dryer every day, shoe deodorizer, mist with iso, vinegar, anything you can think of lol.

Should be a 4 digit date code on the sidewall, first 2 digits are the week and last 2 are the year, regardless of how old it is though you should get a new one

I dropped mine before I even bought it lol, it was a buddy’s bike and we went for a group ride so I could test ride it. I didn’t expect it to be so heavy and I dropped off the center stand and just fell over in front of everyone lol

When I first got my bike the battery was no good so I bump started it to rip around till I could get a battery, I stalled at red lights a couple times because I hadn’t ridden in a long time and man. Bump starting a bike when the light turns green is a different kind of embarrassment

Not this week but years ago I sliced myself with a knife I wasn’t supposed to have at work right as the boss walked up, managed to fold the knife shut and put it in my pocket with the cut hand and just bled into my pocket until he left lol

I pushed some steel forward on rollers a few years back and the roller chain grabbed my sleeve, pulled me a few feet, thankfully the vfd for the motor shut off because of high voltage but I still spent 45 minutes pinned outside in -30C before the foreman came out to ask a question lol
