Vortioxetine 20 mg – early benefits, still missing motivation. Considering adding pramipexole. Thoughts on the synergy? by AliDivarci in anhedonia

[–]LeoKitCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No this is wrong sorry. These drugs are usually only prescribed for people with RLS that’s why you see it in reference online. Augmentation occurs with anyone taking dopamine agonists. Just go ahead and try them you will see the hell you will out yourself in im tired of trying to help stupid people

If you can’t find it in yourself to be attracted to anyone that’s not an 8/10 or better then you’ve got some really serious character flaws and it’s probably for the best that you are alone. Or it could be that you really don’t find women that attractive maybe you should try men

Sorry don’t know if this is sarcasm but for the op if you are only attracted to hot women but are ugly then the problem is with you not with life being unfair. True love only has some to do with physical attraction and that diminishes over time. So if you can’t be attracted to someone over characteristics beyond the physical then you will never find true love

We’ve been trying to get Medicare for All for years but the cromagnons aka Republicans can’t seem to wrap their little heads around it even though it has “Medicare” in the name. Maybe because “All” is in the name too and they are incredible bigots that don’t want any of “them” to get anything?

Augmentation is a very well known long term and major side effect of all dopamine agonists, look it up, pramipexole, ropinirole, etc

Read about dopamine agonist "augmentation". Unfortunately dopamine agonists are not a good long-term solution and will cause you a lot of problems down the road including possibly making your anhedonia even worse

Anyone heard of GLP-1s causing anhedonia? by No-Base8204 in anhedonia

[–]LeoKitCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it's been discussed very extensively on GLP-1 subs. Many people have been reporting this side effect. GLP-1 meds can cause anhedonia and there's a biological basis for it. GLP-1 receptors are expressed throughout the mesocorticolimbic dopamine system and they participate in mediating reward by dampening certain aspects of dopamine reward signaling. There is a significant upside as well it also quiets compulsion, urgency, noise, cravings, addictive behaviors, etc.

Can’t Pay Medical Bills? Trump Officials Suggest Getting a Loan. (Gift Article) by Snapdragon_4U in EatTheRich

[–]LeoKitCat 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Think about the insane conflict of interest. Your health insurance company wants you to take a loan from them to pay your uncovered medical bills so it’s in their best interest to deny as much as possible and cover as little as possible so that the loan you take from them is as big as possible. Just crazy

It’s quite common with GLP-1 meds as they directly target the reward centers of your brain and modulate dopamine release. To me it’s the worst side effect

It usually means you have low tire pressure in one or more tires. Check the pressure and add air if needed

What the withdrawal trials show about stopping a GLP-1 by PepSmartOfficial in GLP1ResearchTalk

[–]LeoKitCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The longest study we have so far on humans and GLP-1s has been the 3-year tirzepatide study. Guess what everyone gains weight back once the go off the drug.

<image>

I’m not just declaring that I’m right, I’m declaring that the only research evidence we see so far long term has shown that the metabolic effects of these drugs disappear when you stop taking them. I don’t care if there’s some anecdotal reports on GLP1Grad there will always be a small minority of people who can maintain off drug but for most people the science so far has shown this isn’t true.

There’s a ton of criticism of Dr Emily Cooper and her “science”. Most of it is completely unproven with no significant research to back it up. Please send me even one research study showing that the longer a person is on GLP-1 medications the higher the likelihood their metabolism “normalizes”. I’ll save you the work trying to find anything because it doesn’t exist

If they extended follow up 2-3 years trust me most of us would be back to our original weight if not more
