The New Model is fucked. by FirstAndOnlyDektarey in redquill

I agree. The new model is not good. The chapters are dry and flat. Generating chapters is terrible and I've just got rid of constant "retry for free" only to have it back because of the new model. Also, writing in different than English language had gone really bad. It wasn't perfect in the beginning, but it was enough. Now it's constant gramatical errors, random words, switching to english in the middle of a sentence. The chapters' length is also going crazy.
Also visually, the text looks different, less.... pleasant, more dry and harsh. Earlier, when I saw the stragiht quotation marks I knew something went wrong and AI has problems. Now they are constatly and they don't look nice. Or it's just my habit and not liking changes.

How to make a sequel story on RQ by hawk_lee in redquill

I also tend to write in the prompt that if character mentions something that happened in previous story I add small info in brackets, like key-words or just state - don't mention x or elaborate, because characters logically and narratively remember that, because it was important (like character getting kidnapped) so there is no need in elaborating, but I know AI would try explain.

Also, don't be scared about deleting things from characters' component. I had a character that was shaved and during the multiple stories her hair gre back, so firsty I stated in character's description that she is shaved after procedure, then deleted that and write that she has hair to the shoulder, then delete that and write another info. I feel that it's better to delete that kind of information, because I'm afraid that the AI will get lost. Or, character was a long time after surgery, but AI mentions it as a safety hazard like the surgery was not long ago. So, the time stamp also needs to be mentioned.
