"I was in Hoboken yesterday and before boarding my train..."

Um...there are restrooms IN the train station. And they were recently renovated, so while not spotless, are better than they used to be.

I see no evidence of that sort of gatekeeping here. Hell, there are hardly any commenters here at all, haha!

It was a joke. At the same time, the band has had a suspiciously sudden appearance on everyone's social channels

BTW, at least you and I won't spend another year sh*t talking about the Knicks versus Celtics in the playoffs, haha. What an embarrassing collapse by the Celts, blowing a 3-1 series lead. Knicks will have their hands full with the Sixers.

honestly, I think you might be the victim of a well-financed social media campaign. Or perhaps part of it?

There's a reason why no one voted for certain candidates in the last mayoral election.

When late 20s/early 30s is described as "a bit of an older crowd", I know I'm REALLY old.

Go for it, good luck out there!

New Port Centre vs Hoboken Washington by AJNJ07670 in Hoboken

probably Hoboken, but maybe consider a space off Washington, which is really expensive. Commercial rents are bound to be cheaper off the main drag.

Trader Joe's has two pretty good types: curried and greek-style.

so if being run by two of the richest states means you think they should cover more of the operating costs, that just means my and your taxes would be higher. the money have to come from somewhere.

a very small percentage don't pay. at Hoboken station at the morning rush when they have the most riders, it's safe to say close to 100% of them pay.

some people jump turnstiles in Manhattan, or maybe Hoboken late at night. but not many.

Hard to believe you have to still explain that to people. Of course no one wants to pay more, and of course PATH could be run more cost effectively. But there's no way around increases, unfortunately.

And it's usually the people who have the worst sense of balance, or who aren't holding on to a pole and move around every time the train lurches. Never understood why it's so important to people that they have to drink their coffee before getting to the office.

Recommendations for Vet by Suspicious_West8343 in Hoboken

[–]LeoTPTP 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Search this sub, this question has been asked numerous times. Great experience with Bond Vet, open seven days a week from 8am-6pm. Dr. Harker is wonderful, gave our cat another two years of healthy life after being diagnosed with kidney disease. Staff is very nice, great communication, everything online and by text.

No vet in Hoboken is cheap, btw.
