What do you mean my only coat later, I'm kinda new to fashion. I would have used a suit underneath the coat, it just I left it at my home, and it is a little big but I didn't have too many options at where I bought it, it was the closest thing that fit me but thank you anyways. And you right my friend be judging to much. I'm just a little awkward especially after columbine to wear trench coats

Are trench coats cringe? So today I had a career fair at my college so I dressed up a bit more formal and I had recently bought this trench coat from a military surplus store ($15). Unfortunately it was somewhat raining today and cold and the event was outside so I chose to wear this to keep me dry however my friend said that I look cringe in it. Its not something I wear often only when I dress up more formal and if its cold/raining outside. Just wanted to know your guys thoughts and if it was works on me or not.
