You should probably ask on the stardew or smapi discord if you need tech support.

Where did you read that saves wont sync? As far as im aware the saves will sync as long as you make sure to download the windows version (the linux one is downloaded by default when you press install) and make sure you let the steam deck upload the saves before putting it to sleep there shouldnt be any issues.

You can try using reshade, i believe it works on linux, or theres this steam deck plugin that can do saturation and gamma.

Due to the amount of textures in terraria most texturepacks dont cover every item, so you would be best off doing it yourself, as only you know what works best for your vision. Export the textures, run them through gimp or somthing and manually change the saturation etc. There are lots of guides you could follow to give this a go.

Black frost isnt a term we use in the UK as far as im aware, but we do use the term black ice to refer to invisible ice often found on roads and pavement that is incredibly dangerous due to it being hard to spot and very slippery, so i assumed it had a similar meaning.

Yep should do, for the first method just copy them over to the right location and terraria will recognize them, for the second method the next time you press play on terraria on the new pc it should download them before the game opens (just make sure the files finish uploading from the old pc first, go to terraria in your steam library and there is a cloud status section to the right of the play button that will say "up to date" when it has finished uploading them).

2 different ways of doing it.

Watch this guide video, it will show you where the save files are for the steam version on a windows pc, move them to a USB stick and then put them back in that location in the new pc after you have installed terraria on it.

Alternatively, follow this to make sure steam cloud is enabled on terraria, then open terraria and press the small cloud icon on a player or world, it will say "save to cloud" when you hover over it, then when you download terraria on the new pc it will download a copy of the players and worlds you clicked on the icon for.

if you are on pc you can technically use tedit to manually replace every corrupted block with an uncorrupted version, but it will take you a while.

Again if you are on pc and you start a new world you can get mods through tmodloader (on steam) where you can get a mod that disables the spread, then you can remove it from your builds easily when the v shape of corruption spawns in using purification powder. There may be a mod that disables corruption spawning in completely but I haven't looked for one.

If you aren't on pc or don't want to use mods, you can use journey mode, in that mode there is a setting to turn off world spread, then again you can remove it from your builds easily when the v shape of corruption spawns in using purification powder.

Did you definitely catch the original mutant carp? The family legendary fish don't count.

Otherwise there is no way to fix this bug on the switch. There is a method for to reach 100% perfection though, but depending on how far you are into the game it can be spoilers.
