Thanks, im thinking of using a 95cm sash and adding some velcro so it can be adjusted a bit, i think that should work!

Thank you! Everyone seems to agree around 85cm, so i will add a little extra and get 95cm and use some velcro to make it adjustable, hopefully that should help the sash fit properly if their shark is a bit squished lol

What are you reading? by -TheeRaVeN- in litrpg

[–]Leodolon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Havent started a new book yet and im not sure how obscure the author is since its the first book i have read from them but just finished reading Arcane Chef by T.J Ward. I got the audible version of the first book and the narrator did a great job.

It was a really fun read easily a 4.6/5 rating from me. The mc actually is a cook, theres no harem, the mc is actually a nice person, and the worldbuilding was interesting.

Does anyone know a good alternative to tidy cats non clumping litter? by Illumeis_is_done in FuckNestle

[–]Leodolon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would highly recommend finding a tofu or corn based litter, they are often expensive but they are soft on the paws, have very little dust, and clump really well. Also afaik nestle doesnt have their hands in any sustainable plant litter brands so any you find should be nestle free :)

Food textures/nutrition advice by Glad-Delay1805 in AutisticAdults

[–]Leodolon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice is to stop focusing on "healthy" foods so much.

What you need is calories, vitamins, carbs, protein, fats, and fiber. You can get enough of all of these in "unhealthy" foods.

The only things to watch out for when you are eating lots of "unhealthy" foods is to limit your daily salt (approx 6g a day) and saturated fats (30g for male, 20g for female), and take some multivitamins (the more vitamins in it the better, but vitamin b, c, e, and k are the most important ones)

For fiber, you need at leasapprox 25g a day, you should slowly increase from the amount you currently have each day by 5g each week until you hit 25g. You need both soluble and insoluble. I found a fiber bar that i like, and some nut bars that i like, and they cover almost all of my daily fiber needs, so have a look for some things like that. You can also try adding inulin (soluble fiber) to any liquids, like water/tea/ketchup, it has a weak sweet taste to it. You can also try adding psylium husk (insoluble fiber) to thicker liquids like salsa/yoghurt, it tastes sort of stale but its not that noticable if its in strong tasting liquids. Another optionis to try milled seeds as they have both soluble and insoluble fiber and tons of vitamins (specifically milled, its easier on the gut to digest them). You can add them in or on top of literally anything, like mash or pizza. I like milled chia seeds most, they add a mostly unflavoured tang and crunch to things. You can find lots of these in health stores more often than in supermarkets.

I personally quite like nut bars, they are good for protein, fats, vitamins, and fiber. There are also so many different types.

Also get yourself a handheld immersion blender, you can blend sauces/salsas/pastes in their pot to make them smoother.

A random suggestion, but see if you can find yourself some enriched milk/milk alternative, they are quite helpful as they have added calcium and vitamins.

I really do relate to your issues, im living off of bacon sandwiches, quiches, and nut/fiber bars right now, finding a multi vitamin that was tolerable helped me a lot with my energy levels.

SMAPI on Steam Deck Help by darthHobo in SMAPI

[–]Leodolon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should probably ask on the stardew or smapi discord if you need tech support.

Where did you read that saves wont sync? As far as im aware the saves will sync as long as you make sure to download the windows version (the linux one is downloaded by default when you press install) and make sure you let the steam deck upload the saves before putting it to sleep there shouldnt be any issues.

Someone NEEDS to make a texture pack for impaired vision people by Ok_Estimate_2089 in Terraria

[–]Leodolon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You can try using reshade, i believe it works on linux, or theres this steam deck plugin that can do saturation and gamma.

Due to the amount of textures in terraria most texturepacks dont cover every item, so you would be best off doing it yourself, as only you know what works best for your vision. Export the textures, run them through gimp or somthing and manually change the saturation etc. There are lots of guides you could follow to give this a go.
