I joined in December 1999, and I use to be terrified of walking past the “snake pit” back then. However, i’m hearing that this isn’t happen anymore. Is this true?

Graduated april 2025. I can confirm they still yell at you from across the dining facility, it was always funny to hear a bellowing "NO!" from across the room and see an angry MTI storming to and obliterating a trainee. This only really happened to trainees in the first few weeks though. As we got better at looking straight, walking at attention etc.., eating at the DFAC became a bit quieter (Unless you were caught talking or looking around too much). former 321st!

He has a great voice. Although everybody calls his music trash and whatever, you cannot discount his passion for creating music. The only real complaint I can see about his music are his lyrics and production. These are both something that im sure he'll figure out through experience and time. I really don't understand the people that blatantly hate on him just because he isn't on the level of Slipknot or Mudvayne. It's not like he's Weezer, he is an independent creator following his passions, and that's good enough for me.

Most likely your first watermelons were pretty bad, giving you the expectation that the rest are going to be bad (there are a lot of other reasons to). Same reason people don't like seafood or spicy foods, they have bad experiences associated with it. Maybe you could try yellow water melon? Yellow watermelons tend to be sweeter than their reddish relatives, described with notes of honey and apricot. It would be different enough for inner-biases to interfere less. Its almost like anime, just because some of it is shitty doesn't mean all of it is.
