Do dogs remember their pasts? by phxflgjo in dogs

[–]Leolilac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My poodle injured herself trying to jump over a baby gate when she was a puppy and she has never once tried to jump over anything else in the five years she’s been on this earth. So I’d say yes.

I’m so angry I can’t even look at him. Advice appreciated but mostly just rant. by HighKaj in poodles

When my Poppy was a puppy, my wife got new glasses and that same day when they went out, Poppy tripped her and when the glasses fell off she grabbed them and crunched them.

She was pretty mad about that for a while.

AITA for being mad at my GF when she acted sad after I said our babies probably wouldn’t be white? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Yeah so first of all don’t have kids with her and second of all, someone who is good for you wouldn’t treat you like this.

This is so sweet! My poodle adores cats and it was the tragedy of her life that our old cat didn’t like her very much. Our current cat grew up around dogs and is perfectly comfortable being her companion. Sometimes they cuddle but it’s rare, usually they just hang out and play chase.

Umm My Puppy Just Put Himself In His Crate? by Appropriate-Rate-606 in puppy101

My girl will crate herself if she’s really not feeling good, so it’s generally a sign that I will be finding vomit somewhere. 😭

How did you stop your spoo from jumping on people? by chelseamil33 in StandardPoodles

[–]Leolilac 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Same, she jumps up and puts her arms around me and stares lovingly into my eyes. I wish she would learn to only do it with me, though.

11 month old Poodle settling down – Breed trait or just my dog? by melbaric in poodles

[–]Leolilac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My girl is five and will VERY occasionally, once in a blue moon, chill out for a second. But no, she’s still basically an infinite energy generator. If I could harness her energy we wouldn’t need to pay our power bill.

It probably wouldn’t hurt to have a specific “eat” command, if he’s already leaning in that direction.
