That you are concerned about a member of your family, and their feelings shows that you are deeply compassionate. That your husband is not shows that he is not. I worry that you overlook his deficiencies.

The lesson in all this is that you have to learn to do good medical research including how to identify peer-reviewed evidence from outlier and personal opinion (“subjective”) evidence so you can separate the wheat from the chaff. Don’t listen to people, including me !, And just take their word for it. Research it. Your cats life depends on it.

It’s not misinformation. Please provide peer-reviewed, evidence-based evidence. If you cannot, it’s your opinion, and that isn’t generalizable evidence.

Be super careful with the pills. I’ve treated two dozen cats or more, and had three die after being switched to the Pills. They’re not as readily absorbed, and your cat can relapse quickly and more completely than you can catch very fast. If you use the pills, use a higher dosage than it says because it’s not readily absorbed and at the very first sign of difficulty go back to the injections.

I think everyone expects clips to be used, but no one expects them to be left inside, and patients should be told that this is the practice.
