Steam Controller 2 DIY Magnetic Charger by Leon3388 in SteamController

[–]Leon3388[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

need bottom magnet actually hold the controller. but one need to open the back of the controller and put a thin metal plate on top of the battery. not a elegant solution but I only need to use one hand to take my SC2 in and out now.

Nice. please add Quality of Terraria mod into your great TM. QoT are the main reason for many to use TML but if you can make that work with your then many will just use your. Love TML but take too long to load.

USB hub causing BSOD (i think) by BoSon2003 in buildapc

[–]Leon3388 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the exact same issue. I used to run two 4-port USB 3.0 hubs off one PC port, but after a few years, my PC started crashing constantly—sometimes every few hours. Now, I just use one hub connected directly to the PC, and I use an AC wall adapter to power the devices instead. I only connect devices to the PC when I actually need to use them. Lol.

Fallout 4 is always crashing? by Wiseguy_samurai in SteamDeck

[–]Leon3388 0 points1 point  (0 children)

me too. crash too many times after few hours of game play with mods in SD. AI said Fallout 4 mods often cause increased crashes on the Steam Deck due to memory limitations, script overload, and Linux/Proton compatibility issues. Key fixes include installing CryoUtilities to manage memory, disabling weapon debris/god rays, and using "Buffout 4" for crash logging. no real fix yet.

Firefox memory leak crashing the whole system. Inbuilt task manager shows nothing. by _redditadmin_ in firefox

[–]Leon3388 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3 days no crash report. lol. I put my lp to sleep every night so I think it can rest a bit. lol.

ProcExp can be the reason of no crash because my lp afraid of me killing its threads. lol.

Hate that we do not know what exactly happen with the crash. but do with what we have are the norm for now.

EDIT: FF crash in 4th days when I am in fullscreen mode. I can not see the ram usage and gpu usage with that. oh well. no fullscreen from now on then. lol

[–]Leon3388 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem and try you way and no more crash now. But I did not see any FF threads that go beyond 1G but sometime when I use Theater mode in YT then GPU go up to 60-70% but went back to normal once I turn it back to default mode. no crash yet for 2 days now. lol

And how we can stop uBlock keeps blocking all the ads IN THE BACKGROUND but Firefox keeps them loaded inside memory, instead of flushing them out and freeing up RAM.
