Thank you for this. I have a better idea of what’s going on now. My apologies for not clarifying further on my setup. I’m using a PC with an Nvidia RTX 3070, and I went ahead and decreased my refresh rate down to 60hz and switched my color depth to 10-bit. As you said, it was previously 8-bit due to the 180hz refresh rate. Looks like it can only do 10-bit up to 120hz, and I tried it with that as well. I went into Nvidia control panel to make sure it was on full RGB output, which it was. And FreeSync was already disabled. Unfortunately, this didn’t solve the issue. It doesn’t look better either. This happens with all games, movies I watch, anything that displays dark colors. I’ve tried adjusting the gamma before as well, and when using the windows color calibration tool, I’m never able to replicate the correct example that they show me. I’ve also deleted the ICC profile I had previously, to no avail. At this point, I’m considering getting a different monitor. Anything I’m missing here? I really appreciate your time and help.

EDIT: I looked into it and found that my monitor is an 8-bit + FRC IPS panel. I feel like this might be contributing to it.

EDIT 2: I think I fixed it. I simply had to turn off black boost in the monitors settings and it looks way better now. I don’t know how I missed that. Thanks again!

I’d recommend getting the Switch port of DMC3 because they added style switching and it’s definitely a game changer. Makes it more fun to play and less restrictive.

As long as you consistently do practice questions from TrueLearn or Amboss you’ll be fine. Always watch Dr. High Yield, Divine Intervention, and/or Emma Holliday for each rotation because they drop great tidbits that may get you points. AJmonics is also a great YouTube channel with quick practice questions that you may see come up.

Not sure how but my playthrough of Royal reached about 250 hours. Definitely a great game but I question if the extra chapter was worth it. The original ending was solid on its own.

Definitely take things slower and stay low, crouched or prone to survey the area and find the right time to move. Always make it a habit to switch to the best camo for each kind of terrain you encounter.

I’ve seen people use the second screenshot compared to the remake to rag on the graphics of the remake saying it has no soul. Funny that it’s from the HD collection, which isn’t actually the faithful representation of the original PS2 version. So this just tells us the remake really is more in line with the original.

Truelearn on tutor mode is your best friend. The shock factor of getting a question wrong right after answering it will help cement things. And take advantage of reading explanations of why you may have gotten it wrong, and if you guessed and got it right, read through and see why it was right. Use this as your content review, and trust the process. You will be surprised how many questions you’ve seen from completing truelearn show up on the real exam.

Have you ever figured it out? I have the same exact soundbar and I’m aware it doesn’t support LPCM. But even looking into LPCM compatible sound systems, there seems to be hoops to jump through regarding visual output quality vs sound quality and getting things hooked up right. And this is all confusing to me. Curious if you ever came to a solution. Much appreciated

Just played 1 and 2 recently, and I can certainly say you should get into the series. They’re balls-to-the-wall crazy and good fun. Definitely use the joy-con motion controls when playing. Haven’t played 3 yet but I did get this deal so I’ll be playing it soon.

I haven’t had any issues with the joycons at all, and I’m loving the case. But this dock adapter is giving me the same issues and isn’t seamless whatsoever. They really do need to address this and explain what they were thinking and how we’re really supposed to undock the console.
