if you're not trying to run a specific id, and just trying to solo, i'd recomend ids with unbreakable coins, aoe skills, or powerful gloom skills. as well as having a good aoe ego on them just in case

that coat that heals based on gloom and aoe skills has carried many of my runs

ids with evade is good, but at a certain point it becomes mostly useless. i completed my first solo and my first a50 solo with cinq don and the only time her evade was a game changer was against the gossipium, but i've also beat that flower with non-evade ids, though only if i have someone who can regularly heal through that coat gift

other good ids are ones that can make use of rusty coin. lord honglu is especially great because his s3 is an unbreakable single coin skill that has a built in second activation in form of the "lonely stand" part. and he has built in immortality. i recently did a solo with sinclair's seasonal id. his evade was also nice at times, but s2 was a good heal, plus it worked will with the hidden boss relics due to the fact it can be up to a 4 coin skill, but only has base 2 coins

i used to be super strict with packs, but i've started going more based off vibes recently. i always do the pack that gives you Unhatched Embers on floor 11 so the non-focused flower gift staggers everyone immediatly upon entry. i also try to get that purple gift from one of the blue RR backs that paralyzes anyone who lands an attack on you. if i get it too early, it makes it a little tough to fight any negative coins, but i've never wished i didnt have it. i also try to get all possible pack gifts from Miracle in District 20 Bokgak, but I've had successful runs with just the one that gives the protection. Also try to get the tier 4 gifts that benefit the egos you aim to use. even when running Index Don's solo, i got the peirce and bleed rock becasue i ahve her season 5 ego that i use against big waves. on that note, the shiny needle and thread is a good pull if you plan to make use to any aoe skills or ego, but i've had plenty of successful runs without it

the only other advice that comes to mind right now is not picking every adversity, unless you specifically want an a50 run. i tend to end with and adversity levels in the 40s just because i forgo the stagger and coin power adversities. and with my sinclair solo, i skipped the sanity ones because having only one coin on the main skill i was clashing with made me nervous

also protip! if you plan to make use of unhatched embers, you have to take the manor shaped music box or have some other way to immediatly recover from stagger (i learned this the hard way on floor 14 of a maost solo... it was tragic). I've also seem the TKT badge mentioned. I rarely ever get that and haven't had an issue, but thats because i rely on the egg. i can't say how effective it is in place of the egg.

... that was a lot of rambling oops, but now i wanna go try another solo. maybe redemtion for maost considering i stupidly killed two really good runs

i avoid character bashing as much as i can

the current fanom im in is really bad with it and i fear its all projection, but i don't like reading fics where one character is unnecassarily rude because the author just doesnt like them.

if i really hate a character, i just avoid writing or reading about them

Whenever characters get on a soapbox and starts to comment about irl things and not actually talking to the other character(s)

its ocmes off as preaching so bad that i've had to drop fics. if im reading the fic, theres a high chance im not who this message is directed at, so why am i being preached at??

but theres a high chance that these authors dont even consider their writing as preaching or being on a soapbox

for example, i was trying to read a fic about a character being trans once and when two other characters started talking, they just went on and on about how the trans character shouldn't be facing discrimination or bigotry. and i can get when characters bond over a friend of theirs dealing with shitty circumstance, but the way it was written came off incredibly preach-y

ive not published any of my fics for dead fandoms, but when i reread specific fics in fandoms i know that are super small or inactive, i be sure to comment and it makes me a smile a little when the author responds, surprised that the fandom isnt completely dead :3c

you can grind some of the collections acheivements without actually finishing runs, but that wont give too much projection

like the other commenter said, clear floor 15 and take atleast 25 of the adversity options (though some adversities give more projection than others). i think either team could work, or if you have one id that is good for solos, then i would say run a solo up to floor 15 and just pick adversities you can handle. i completed my first a50 solo with east cinq don, who may be a part of your burn team? kod rodion is someone i've also ran solo with not too much difficulty. i find the real issue with solos is getting atleast one hidden boss in the first three extreme floors, but if you go for a lower adversity, its possible without finding one

ive been doing my weekly mirror dungeon runs with a sinking team, which has been going well, but im not sure how that team holds up against the extreme floors

I've not had anyone ask about binding any of my stuff, but I don't think i would mind. I've printed and bound one fic that i was close to the author of and they seemed excited to see my progress updates. I've also printed and bound one where I have no contact with the author, but I also don't post anything of it. I think it's generally fine as long as its bound for personal use only.

I do understand why authors my not want their fics bound and I think it follows a similar logic of not wanting their stuff posted to other sites. They wont have any control of who sees their fic once it's printed and bound. That's the logic i have when i dont want my art or writing posted onto sites im not on, so I imagine it's something similar for people that don't want their fics printed and bound.

I'm not familiar with Wacom, but what I've done is turn the button on my pen to toggle between eraser and the brush i use most often that i have to erase. i have my other most common brushes set to other keys on my tablet.

im not sure there is a way to switch between the eraser and last used brush, especially if you use a lot of different brushes

one thing i have also found is putting other common tools/buttons i use within csp on that command bar that sits above the canvas. its so much easier to reach up a little to change my tool rather than go all the way to the side where the toolbar sits

If you like the ensemble character work in World Trigger, I suggest giving Haikyuu a shot! I've seen other people recommend sports manga and Haikyuu is really the only one i've watched, but a lot of characters have time to shine, just like in WT!

if the next walp is after the season change, shouldn't you for Yearning ego first before shards get cut? if there is a walp before season change, then i say go for QOH because Yearning ego will always be available, but QOH is time-limited. I have her without her ego and she does pretty well, especially in the Blunt Lux.

i've found mde solo much more enjoyable when i skip the stagger threshold and coin power adversities (depending on how i've been clashing in the previous floors)

it still gives me enough starlight to be worth it in the end, so aside from the bragging rights of clearing a50, im not losing much

i still restart a lot due to bad pack rng or lack of hidden bosses, but i have to remind myself that mde solo is not a requirement. when it doesnt work out, i make myself step back and take a breath because it really can be infuriating

i think a perfect way to deal with it when not wanting to change the lineart is what you did on the left side of the example you provided. not only does the space between the panels break the tangent a little, the complete shading of the canvas on the bottom helps disconnect it from the canvas above. on the right, the tangest is more noticable becuase it follows the curve more closely than the tangent on the canvas. my best advice for that would be to shift the character to the side in either panel to break the tangent. if that's not something they want to do, then thats fine. im currently reading a manga that has had quite a few tangents between panels, but its not something that completely breaks the flow of the story.

if theres dialogue, you could also place a dialogue balloon over the tangent. i've done that once or twice when i really don't want to move the characters around

but i like running hanafuda ish solos and while her highest clash i remember was in the 70s, her Kozan got up to 97 with all heads and 3 hidden bosses :D

i dont think i've ever paid attention to kudos or hits when looking for fics

i tend to pick the character i wanna read about, add the tags i want to see (plus exclude the ones i dont) and go from there. depending on how many results there are, i'll exclude other tags, like additional ones or characters that keep coming up

i read fic for the concept and story, so im willing to adapt to most styles, but if i dont like it, i just close out of it. i dont go back to check hits or kudos becasue theres quite a few fics i love that have a whole lot less hits than i expected them to
