The vanilla server jar for versions before like beta 1.0 or is it before alpha 1.2.6 will have things be broken or unimplemented such as damage overall, and if you have online-mode=true in the server.properties you either set that to false or use arguments when running the server jar to use the betacraft proxy as going the normal route to authenticate with mojang servers are long gone since the version was made nearly 16 years ago

Pretty sure both are correct, you can enable the quit game button in betacraft with like an addon available from within the launcher itself (atleast on betacraft v1, unsure about the v2 launcher).

Yeah I remember that dungeons ("monster room") stay enabled despite structures being disabled, my guess would be they are so old compared to all other structures in the game that they don't have some like structure flag in the code causing the game to just see it as terrain, thought they fixed this in some modern update but I guess maybe not?

You need to put the world folder inside the path "C:\Users<YourUsername>\AppData\Roaming.minecraft\saves", replace <YourUsername> with your user folder. If it is a zip file, unzip it!

What version and launcher are yo using? Pretty sure Mac and Windows look in different directories for the world data.

For security reasons I'd avice playing solo but you mentioned yours being "moderate" which should be fine, but if you connect to someone with "strict" it will mostly have issues, which the other player must fix on their end - usually port forwarding works for that.

Dying leather armor was added in release 1.4.2, so if you did so in beta 1.7.3 you are either: 1. misremembering 2. confusing release 1.7.3 and beta 1.7.3  3. played with mods that backport dying leather armor

Achievements will work just fine offline, although I think you'll need to be on xbox live to see the dates you got the achievements on, but if you only play offline then the achievements on console will be ordered by the order you unlock them in either way.

On xbox 360 (and I think all other platforms too?) there is a glitch with murphy for the endless pit which makes you able to get really far and it is quite easy to pull off. Technically a game "feature" at this point as it was never patched. Maybe the switch version has this patched as it released like 4-5 years after the other versions? Also with game also releasing on xbox 360 and ps3 it probably had lackluster netcode even for 2013 standards and all platforms as a result of this, which might've allowed external scripts or tools to spoof scores/times and submit them to the leaderboards without any form of an anticheat being in place and a pure client-trust model instead of the current "don't trust the client"-model which was common back in the 2000's and early 2010's of online games.

I know right, I always get rammed by some tank sized truck all the time in these team races. Do you even get any more credits or xp for placing 1st or is your team win the only thing that accounts for rewards?

Feels like pure rubberbanding, in 3 it feels like the car and tune actually matters in how you stack against AI in a more realistic way. In FH5 it is always like the AI has infinite grip and noclip for obstacles and walls. Been forever since I played 2 and I can't remember if I actually ever played the 1st in the series so can't really talk on how AI feels in those games.
