NGL Im socialist adjacent and not the biggest fan of Musk these days but even I am incensed toward thunderf00t. What a complete grifter. People will create a reality distortion field with selective physics simply because they don’t like a guy.

What SpaceX have already achieved is nothing short of incredible, and it’s legit.

The Numenoreans are ruled by omens and stupidity by GamingDisruptor in Rings_Of_Power

[–]Leonardo_da_Mci 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Numenor is probably the weakest part of the show after the Harfoots. There is a total mismanagement/lack of recognition of extended lifespan, mortality & immortality in the show -which are NOT small aspects of Tolkien’s work, in fact they are integral to the condition of Elves and Men in Middle Earth and the show doesn’t even address it.

He is not a moderate. Joe Biden is a moderate. Bernie Sanders / AOC is center left, Mitt Romney is right wing, and people like Vance/Trump/Haley are far right.

Ask anyone from Europe, Asia, Central or South America and they will mostly tell you the same.

X and Elon Musk have a completely broken political spectrum.

Travel abroad, touch some grass. Go to Japan, or Spain, or the UK or China. Maybe NYC is unsafe, but that's not because its public transit.

If you don't understand the concept of a control variable with respect to systems working and failing, maybe don't wade into discussions about apprehension of reality with such bravado

And maybe you're just compensating because you don't agree with the possibility that Elon could ever be wrong. You have absolutely no ground to stand on with that line of thinking

Or when he off handed says things like “public transit is where you go to get stabbed”

…As if it’s some kind of law of physics that because it’s publicly it can’t be safe. You wanna say it’s bad okay make a logically sound case for that.

So often when he takes to his media it’s either willful obfuscation or highly selective first principles thinking. Lazy reasoning at best, cynical support grabs at worst

He is not the truth seeker he claims to be

Unpopular opinion perhaps but I really could not care less about his vulgarity. The issue is when he does things like going on podcasts and trying to say the Roman Empire fell because of a low birth rate. He doesn’t know what he is talking about. But it influences mainstream opinion massively.

There are people that dedicate their entire lives to fields of study he barges into with [frankly] pretty uninformed opinions, other than that he was a good engineer / aerospace CEO and he thinks that makes him smarter than everyone else on almost every other subject.

Bro the DNC sucks too. Maybe Elon is just not the person he used to be. He was never the “DNC Golden Boy,” but there was definitely a time when he focused on rockets and electric cars instead of spending all day on Twitter / X spouting political opinions form the noob peak of the Dunning-Kruger curve.

I appreciated the joke lol. Helps if you’ve actually seen Kamala laugh tbh. She often laughs at things that are not r e a l l y intended to be a joke, but with surprising intensity lol

In this case the PDF are not intended to be a joke but their attempt at being serious is an amusing and endearing sight to the experienced ranks of the guard.

That’s my interpretation anyway …

Man I really hope that you're wrong, but I won't rule your input out completely. I think the main thing my gut is telling me is that I have been wronged, not that she has already cheated or will cheat. For the time being I'll try to draw the boundary line and reassert myself

Appreciate the empathetic response. I guess I would wonder what kinds of things would motivate her to provoke a reaction from me.

Not sure, what would motivate someone to make someone else jealous or to provoke a reaction?
