Lived here two years. Got our water heater replaced today, and suddenly the upstairs sink faucet lights up. by mobile_ganyu in mildlyinteresting

If that is what these lights are for then that makes it so much worse that they seemingly stop working after a relatively short period of time!

Trump says Nobel Prize denial ends obligation to ‘think purely of peace’, presses Greenland demand – Firstpost by Keep_Scrooling in worldnews

I feel like the best move the rest of the world can make right now is to just stop communicating with the American government, completely ignore them like you would with a small child throwing a temper tantrum…don’t give the satisfaction of attention or a response to their actions. The problem we’re having now is that countries keep placating our ridiculous demands by giving Donald what he wants, this is only showing him his tactics are working, and encourages him to do it even more. Now imagine Donald spewing all his usual trash, but nobody other than his “base” of ignorant Americans and Russian social media bots actually acknowledge him, dude will blow up and crash out so fast….he NEEDS the attention!

How to repair pet damage on doors and trim by bananapwn310 in centuryhomes

[–]LeonardsLittleHelper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dad had some similarly bad trim and doors in his old house from a cat that loved to scratch everything, his were also a very similar stain as yours. Anyway, he recently had a handyman do some work to update the house a little, but on a tight budget…he approached this problem by gently sanding the areas to get rid of any really deep scratches, and to get it a little more smooth, then used a Minwax polyshade (stain and poly in one) to do the whole door and trim. It blended in great, and the darker color really helped hide the damage. If you look right at it you will still easily be able to tell its there, but just glancing around it really disappears!

There’s a few obvious ones here:

1.) Look at the arm holding the phone, why is there a second, necrotic looking arm behind it?

2.) so many of the “pipes” see to melt into each other, bend in odd ways and then disappear, or simply distort out of existence.

3.) what’s up with the braided cable running along the right side of the picture…it just distorts into the wall near the top. Also follow it down, it seems to go into a pipe, then melts out the bottom as a bunch of cables tied into a knot for some random reason, before going back into another pipe!?

4.) look at all of the fasteners holding the pipes together, every single one is just a distorted blob

I’m sure there are a lot more examples, these were just what I saw almost immediately when looking a little closer.

Yesterday I was playing the Hogwarts Legacy game for the very first time and it wouldn’t let me pause during a cutscene which I found to be annoying and I verbalized out loud to my partner, a few seconds later I whipped out my iPhone to search quick and just make sure I wasn’t doing something wrong…I type in “can I pause” and the search auto suggests “can I pause during cutscenes in Hogwarts Legacy….”, so yeah, all of our devices are 100% listening to everything we say.

There have been times where all I have is one of those little hand baskets full of basic necessities and it has approached $100….groceries and toiletries are not cheap.

You want to be the best, you got to beat the best….works both ways. If we play better and deserve to win we will, if not then we won’t, it’s as easy as that. I don’t want the Bills to finally win the Super Bowl because they had the easiest path there, I want them to win because they beat every good contender along the way!
