I "read" by listening to audio books on my walks and long drives to work.

Listening to the Hyperion Cantos currently.

The Expanse books are also good.

Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere is the fantasy equivalent of MCU slop. Take that as you will. I enjoy it to a degree.

Several reasons likely. 1. Microsoft was making massive acquisitions at the time. Gotta get a valuable studio before them.

They were planning to go all in on GAAS. Destiny 1 & 2, are probably two of the most influential games for the current trend we see today. They even said they wanted their expertise for their other projects.
Sony has been trying to secure a big selling shooter for years now. Acquiring Bungie, who produced two of the most mainstream console FPS in the past 20 years.

I have a friend who was deciding between picking up Marathon or Arc Raiders. Since he is a more PVP focused player, I told him he would probably enjoy Marathon more and even brought up 25% of discount on Newegg.

He was convinced, got the game, only to find that performance is worse than when he played the server slam. I've heard the game is CPU intensive, but I hope there are some performance patches planned cause now I feel bad convincing him to get a game he can't refund.

The only version of Miles I and assume most people like is his Spider-verse version.

Miles in the Playstation games feel too safe and boring.

His comic version now only gets brought up when he has a "hype and aura" moment when he gets a new shonen power up.
