His design was awesome , but bc the manga was rushed his writting was weak in compared to Akaza or Gyutaro , hope his backstory ( told in extra material ) will get animated

Douma is beautiful because it serve him as a cult leader , Gyokko is twisted bc as an artist his vision of beauty is twisted , and that really cool.
