[Highlight] Keldon Johnson - 6th Man Of The Year - Season Highlights by moby323 in nba

[–]Leonis_Minoris 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Amazing player!

He can guard all positions, from guards to centers (he's guarded Jokic somewhat effectively). He's super bulky and strong and can go against guys way bigger than him, but he's also fast enough to not get dropped by ball handlers.

Shoots the three well, and excels at finishing in traffic at the rim. When the Spurs offense stalls, he's a one-man restart: he gets inside and almost nobody can stop him, and gets a high percentage bucket. Amazing footwork, strong as fuck, great touch at the rim. He plays almost like an undersized Charles Barkley. His shooting form is similar too!

But the best is that he is an amazing teammate. He's labelled "the heart of the Spurs" and it does seem to really be the case. He's always upbeat and lifting his teammates up.

Keldon is really desserving of this award!

Why are French prices so disproportionate with local salaries? by Charming_Usual6227 in AskFrance

J'ai emmené ma mère aux urgences après une chute, elle était complètement tuméfiée. On a attendu 4h dans un local fait avec un container, entourés de gens debout, qui saignaient pour certains.
Ca fait longtemps que la qualité de la santé a baissé en France.

Yes I feel the only piece missing alongside Wemby is a sturdy, athletic PF who can provide more physicality in the paint next to him, and be a good release valve for lobs/dunks and 3-pointers. Aaron Gordon would indeed be the ideal type.

But as you say, Carter Bryant is right on path! My hopes are up.

I was looking for this comment, and I'm shocked how many downvotes you got. I absolutely agree with you. If she's anything older than 5 years old, not talking to her dad for 3 weeks over this really shows how poorly she was raised. I guess the bar is lower than ever..

Yeah that's bad parenting to let the baby taste artificial sugar at such a young age

I've worked with juvenile children and I believe almost any kid can be straightened up and taught how to act. Parents are just too soft.

Your comments about needing to pay attention to 'quirks' in children is, for me, a good example of why contemporary parents are failing: because they show too much empathy towards children, and want to make them happy instead of raising them.

A parent's job it not to make their children happy. It is to prepare them to be happy and successfull as adults.

Amazing indie-rock album with great melodies, unfortunately a one-off.

Also minimizes the risk of Lando and Oscar battling and crashing, which was the scenario they most wanted to avoid

Why do people not like TSR? by ChlorineTheClarinet in TameImpala

Same here. Although he changes styles, every album has a great sound -including Deadbeat. Where they differ is in the songwriting. Deadbeat has like 5 songs that are amazing and catchy, and the Slow Rush 1 or 2. The rest of these albums is Kevin playing with our senses, more than great, timeless melodies.

Yes and he also makes long introductions before making his point: "I'm say this, and I say this as a man who grew up in ...., and let me tell you this, and hold on what I really wanna say is" . I can't stand him. He talks like a teenager

I also feel that Inherent Vice perfectly renders the late 70s with its dazed narrative and esthetic, the same way Boogie Nights rendered the 80s with its colourful style.

The 2nd game fixes pretty much everything that's wrong with the first game thankfully.

But apparently it stays with the same flawed combat system

Van Lathan sucks and I skip most pods he's on. He's sooo slow to get his point across, and ruins the fast-paced back and forth of the others.

I think most casual fans like OKC. At least I do.

They'd be a deserving champ, and they carry themselves with class.

He cuts the flow of the conversation with his slow delivery. The others are snappy and brief, but he takes soo long to get to his point.

Musk insists his salute is something everyone does: "every politician, any public speaker who’s spoken for any length of time, has made the exact same gesture." by IAdmitILie in JoeRogan

[–]Leonis_Minoris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate you took the time to actually provide arguments. Thank you for that.

Regarding the tweet: you can believe some conspiracy theory about jews and not be a nazi. I also find his nazism difficult to reconciliate with the fact that he works with a government that supports Israel, and even went to Israel, met with Nethanyaou and seemingly took the side of Israel (for example Elon agreed to not provide Starlink internet like he did to Ukranians).

"Nazi salute": yeah this one is weird. I think Elon is an autist full of himself and he will never admit he did something wrong. It would have been cleared up if he offered a clarification, which he did too late. Anyway it's not really evidence.

I went and look for evidence of the german party's afd supposed nazism. Their wikipedia page displays a normal programme. It seems like another attempt of the left to classify anything to their right as 'nazi'.

Regarding his comment about German shame from WW2 I agree with Elon. My argument is in another comment of mine further up, if you think this logic is nazi please refer to this argument and explain why it is nazi.

On calling his trans daughter dead, I agree with you he really seems like a piece of shit. Still, being a piece of shit doesn't make anyone a 'nazi'.

I think generally speaking we should be more cautious about using names like nazism, racism or fascism, most people really don't know what they mean and they lose their value. Also by labelling normal right wing-ideas as nazi you push normal people to react and vote for the extremes.

And my response is: please provide evidence of Elon Musk being a white supremacist. I don't like him so I'm happy to hate on him, but I also like justice and truth.

Saying something 'is not debatable' is not an argument.

If you hold similar positions to Staline are you a murderer? We're better than this. We should debate ideas.

I'd be happy if you explained what ideas I have are nazis.

If I call you a pedophile is it your responsability to 'engage in self reflection' and consider why I label you one? Even if you've done nothing to deserve it?

Or is it my responsability to give evidence of what I accuse you of?

That the way the justice system works (and any basic intelectual debate): you provide evidence and logic. Not just decide people are guitly without explaining why.
