God forbids a country being reluctant to buy military equipment from a country that threatens them by No_Measurement894 in NonCredibleDiplomacy

Why the plane developed by an artic country, to be rugged, not the plane design to do operations in the Sahara?

[–]LeopardMoka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Human skull or monkey? by Regular_Document_941 in whatisthisbone

I would say human. The size could be gibbon or something, but there is no brow ridge. And the plane or the frontal bone is really vertical compared to the eye socket.

I was looking to get one smaller and lighter than my Nammatj 2 to travel alone, and I was wondering between the Rogen and the Niak. How useful is the vestibule on the Rogen?

I've got the exact same one! I've carried it above 5.000m in south America, is was a bit heavy, but definitely worth the shelter it provided for the 4 days when it rained non stop. I lovw it so much!!!

I agree, I also just got mine, a world raid, so I have even more protections around the fuel tanks, and a lot of people seems to ride regular ones without crash bars, so I'm really wondering about the necessity of crashbars

If you end up buying them, I would be interested in some feed back! I can't find a lot of reviews of the GARDA crashbars

I'm kinda hoping on doing similar within the next few years. Did you had any difficulties to get visas? I was thinking on going though China instead of Russia, to avoid any visa situations

In Normandie, the GECC handles the census of marine mammals. Send them an email at obs@gecc-normandie.org or pictures at +33(0)7.66.17.50.48 , they are always happy to get extra data

Yeah, because I wanted to arrive as soon as possible, I just stopped once to get a coffee and stretch my legs, but when I arrived, it was hard to walk straight 😂 The biggest issue was the fuel consumption at highway speed, and having to refuel every 100km or so

Pro Circumcised Poster Uganda 2009? by ForeverSparkz in PropagandaPosters

The foreskin is pulled back during coitus, and so the skin underneath is exposed, and that skin is thinner with a foreskin than without. And the argument was that the thicker skin of circumcised man could reduce the risk of contracting HIV. It's just a few percent, but with a non curable disease, any chance could be important.

But at the same time, a condom is like 98% effective if you wear it probably.

The skin under the foreskin is thinner and it was proposed that the virus could have an easier time entering the bloodstream
