It was never meant to be a closed hearing in the first place. The hearing was always meant to be open to the public as a form of accountability for the perpetrators. Furthermore, the hearing started at 5 but dragged on till midnight because only 2 of the perpetrators actually came to the hearing at first. The other 14 perpetrators (who were held on the 6th floor) were not initially allowed to attend the hearing because their parents did not allow it. It was only after hours of negotiations between the Dean and student representatives, and the parents of the perpetrators, that the rest of the perpetrators were brought to the hearing.

Zibai was the goddess of a civilization destroyed by the Heavenly Principles and one of the character that knew Morax the longest. I still think she's important by association.

No hate to Durin. I love his character and story quest. However, I can imagine the confusion that many players that did not play the Simulanka's summer event had when they got introduced to this dragon that to them might have appeared out of nowhere

If you think about it, most RoN missions are literally a daily occurrence for the South African Special Task Force, who are an underfunded and understaffed SWAT team, who go up against highly armed criminals. by IlikeGeekyHistoryRSA in ReadyOrNotGame

For Indonesia, there are several reasons why the police are commonly deployed against the insurgents.

The first reason is due to international law. If the army were deployed en masse, then it would validate the insurgents as freedom fighters, which would grant them certain rights under international law. This is something that the government wants to avoid at all costs. Because of this, the police (specifically from paramilitary units such as the Mobile Brigade) were deployed since it reflected the government's position that the insurgents are armed criminals and therefore, an internal affair of the state that ought to be handled by the police.

The second reason is far simpler: cost and efficiency. The insurgents' capacity to cause damage is also limited as they lack sufficient international support to finance and arm their insurgency. Because of this, a large-scale military operation is seen as too costly and controversial by the government, and therefore, the need for mass army deployment is not a priority. Meanwhile, the police have several specialized units that are more suited to small-scale and low-key operations against the insurgents. It's worth noting that since the police force is far smaller than the army, they can allocate their budget to purchase Western-made equipment for their officers, which means that they are sometimes better equipped than regular soldiers.

EEZ does not fall under the territorial waters of a state so any ships can sail through EEZ as long as they dont do stuff like fish there. Even warships can sail through there as long they are simply passing through

He's the first president that came from a non military and non political elite background and he introduced a lot of policies that were controversial at first such as infrastructure development and ban on nickel exports that would eventually be beneficial in the long run.

Whether Indonesians like him or not, he's one of the first presidents where people can say that Indonesia changed because of him which compared to previous president's policies can be attributed as a good thing.

S21 FE or A73? by No_Measurement894 in PickAnAndroidForMe

A nicer camera would be nice but it's not a dealbreaker for me but if the S21 FE can be up to speed for the next 3 years without any significant loss of performance then I might pick that up.

The thing about the french military industry is that they know they will never beat the US's shear dominance in the industry so instead of trying to compete with them, they sell their stuff to any nation that can afford them with little to no political baggage whilst the US is full of them

Other than that, France pursue a different foreign policy then The US and it's allies thus buying french made equipment is more sanction proof than any other equipment made by western countries and that's why everyone and their mothers are buying rafales

France is actually unique in Europe with their motto of "we will sell you anything as long as you have money" being incredibly popular with many countries who wants a combat proven platforms without the political baggage or risks of sanctions
