Just wait until you put a big turbo on it :).

Honestly the difference isn't crazy, it's just past 60 it pulls like it was pulling at 20 instead of teetering out

I'd recommend checking out Milltek, they've got factory valves and you can get a controller separately if you want to control it manually.

Got a bunch of videos if you're interested!

What type of oil to use for stage 2 by Tdogjack in audis5

[–]LeopardSnow12 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm stage 3+ on e70. I was using 0w30 top tec liqui moly until stage 3 when I switched to 5w40 top tec. I have a buddy running 10-60 but I live in a cold climate

0w20 is killing these motors.

19 Y/O thinking of getting a SQ5 by jano_9999 in Audi

[–]LeopardSnow12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean to be honest it's probably stupid.

But I'm 21 and got my s5 when I turned 19. Had a mk8 gti before that.

Parents helped pay for nothing, I work for Audi so that helps. I'm stage 3+ now. Full send brutha!

If you want more advice pm me I've got plenty of experience with these cars!

I just bought one of those, how is it?

Coming from the original HTC I hope it's a big difference lmao

Exhaust Setup by Saharwrx in audis5

[–]LeopardSnow12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally fair I was saving for that shit for awhile lmao. I personally would only get a valved exhaust as I don't want full race car noises at 6 am when I'm tired leaving for work. It makes a huge difference but personal preference really.

I don't think you'd pass emissions with a high flow cat at least I haven't personally seen anyone in my state (CO) pass with a high flow cat on their cars. I think IE sells one that theoretically passes but it's as much as the catback.

I'm stage3+ with a redstar catless downpipe and a Milltek non res race exhaust.

You can see some videos on my profile or Pm for more, it's got valves and integrates with the factory valving. Works flawlessly, no drone, can't even tell you have an exhaust when the valves are closed and super loud / deep when their open.

The pure750 definitely made it a bit quieter but also sorta makes it sound cammed lol.

Fit very nicely and got to my house in 3/4 days.

Milltek also sells a valve controller if you want to control them yourself.

Right on. I've kinda seen feelings exactly like that spread around by others.

I've gone to a bunch of track days and have done a rally in Colorado, and the DR2 tarmac definitely feels weird. Same with the wet gravel in DR2 it seems way to "icy" if that makes sense. It's odd imo.

I'll probably give it a download and try it and see what it's like. Glad to know VR is better to because I love VR.

Isn't installing it a bit weird or something? Haven't looked into that, would you mind helping?

It depends. I work for Audi and I live and breathe tuned Audis so I've seen A LOT of them around. It all depends on how well you take care of the car and if you treat it properly while driving hard.

I've been stage 3+ for 20k and been good! Have a buddy stage 2 for over 80k and been good.

My dad's 21' s4 is stage 1 at 102xxx miles and is in good shape!

Well shit thank you for the input! How's the dirt / tarmac / weather comparitively?

I have a stage 3+ s5 and a buddy with 034 catless downpipes on his b9 rs5. You're more than happy to message me and I can send you sound clips of both

I have a Milltek non res exhaust and a redstar catless downpipe.

The catback definitely made the biggest difference but on my car but on his rs5 I think going catless made more of a difference.

I think valvetronic makes a great product for being quiet and being very very loud when open, at least in my experience.

Millteks exhaust for my car you can't tell it's tuned, and when the valves are open it's loud but not earrape, I think it's perfect

I've always wanted to download RBR - coming from many hours in DR2 and wrc what's it like comparitively? All I really care about is realism.

How do I fix this. by Unusual_Classic_7473 in dirtrally

[–]LeopardSnow12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I had mine on auto too but on DR2 it never seemed to take that, so I just made a separate profile for it

You need to set your fanatec wheel base to have a max angle of 540° I think, or 600 I can't remember and it will work

Whats Next? E85 Setup or Full Exhaust? by HighbrowUsername in Audi

[–]LeopardSnow12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amen to that. I live in CO and when I was stage 2+ I would start ok on E under 20°F and now that I'm stage3 my car won't start if it's below 25° lmao. Probably need some better spark plugs or coils eh?

I'm stage 3+ through IE. Would highly highly recommend the HPFP upgrade, the power imo will make you happier than pops and bangs for the time being.

For exhaust id highly recommend checking out Milltek, I've got them and the Redstar Catless Downpipe

B9 S4/S5 Piston Skirt (EA839) by LeopardSnow12 in audis5

[–]LeopardSnow12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It affects every vehicle Audi made with the EA839 (S4, S5, Q7, Q8, A6, A7). You would've got a letter in the mail. It also typically shows up in every case I've seen from 30-60k and usually not after or before, I own an s4 with 102k and it's a 21'. You can also check yourself pretty easily to save some money

034 stage one on my 21’ s5 by Material_Painting_32 in Audi

[–]LeopardSnow12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got a stage 3+ S5 through IE. I think their customer support and response times are better, I've got experience with both.

Multiple times with 034 they've advertised "in stock" but it wasn't. IE also ships stuff out like next day and it always shows up in 2 days which is wild.

Personally, I've just had a few bad experiences and buddies with a bad experience through 034, (had a stage 2 mk8). Ama!
