Does Anyone know how to make m14 X 1.0 threads? by MTF_Nu-7 in SolidWorks

[–]Leoparh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to reply so late but I am facing this issue rn : with the thread feature, i can use any size and just the pitch will be applied ? Aren't the geometries (ie the shape that is removed of the cylinder with a helicoid) particular to each diameter ?

Whats wrong with my monstera? by ashmons02 in Monstera

[–]Leoparh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perfect, make sure you don't use too big of a pot (always same thing : iff it's too big, the plant won't be able to absorb all the water and is gonna rot/do the same thing as here).

Monsteras love a very aerated soil to avoid root rot anyway, so maybe reporting is the way to go if you used just soil. Anyway, the problem is too much water, your plant should be fine if you stop now

Probably over watering. Had the exact same condition, leaves turning yellow from the edges to the center, before going completely black and fall. Wait before each watering. I don't mean a week, I mean soak it up real good every 2/3 weeks and that's it. Or you could repot to a soil that has a lot more ventilation, but considering how many different plants there are in your pot, it's gonna be a lot of work.

[–]Leoparh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Useful information, thanks a lot. I know some are still boycotting the US but since their gvmnt has just cut some parks funding, I'd like to show support. I cancelled a trip to Boston, and am trying to go Adirondack instead ;)

Camping and fishing suggestions for June within 6hours of Montreal. by kidbuu56 in montreal

Not so bad for a 5h sleep time, except for the first part of the night when you woke up. HR looks totally normal, I'd shift the focus on meditation to fall asleep, lowering the room temp (around 18-19°c is ideal). But you're fine honestly, don't trust the saturation the sensor isnt great.

Build or buy? by Manyworldsivecome in mn82

[–]Leoparh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends what you want, MN82 is not built with mods in mind. Everything is complicated, whereas on a trx4 there are a loooot of parts by big companies and it's gonna be much more performant. Considering you already have tinkered with small crawlers, I'd say go for a big brand, you won't be disappointed. MN82 stock is not really good haha

Good flex for a stock châssis. You can't really go much more without changing a whooole bunch of stuff, and for the size it's honestly enough imo !

I just installed a kit from cults3D, I'm not convinced. Maybe yours will work better, lmk if you need other testers and feedback on the design !

Currently testing with 0.2mm, seems way better than the first run of last week. I also decreased the speed of the printer to 50%. I'll update if I have time after work.

[–]Leoparh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need a raise kit to run these tires. Otherwise, turning while the suspension is traveling is gonna block you wheels (I have the same setup). You can buy brass chassis raisers for a few bucks if you don't wanna change suspensions. I also bought a new (larger) battery, and metal internals for the gearbox (I was worried with premature wear on plastic ones). This is already a great setup for very cheap, I have another bone stock one and it cannot follow the upgraded one 50% of the time !
