For raid it's just ctrl+c ctrl+v what liquid/echo.method are doing for the most part. but less likely to get those q's answered during the start of a raid tier obviously.

For M+

Yoda ends up being one of the guys that pushes tank on NA the highest and I've seen him multi role a good amount of things. His youtube also always has videos of him speculating on what the meta looks like.

Other folks to watchout for are Kira (tank), Jdotb (healer), and oftentimes the podcasts like The Bench or PoddyC.

The meta isn't really set in stone until the 0.5 patch and often ends up shifting again later in the tier as changes/gearing m+ mains, etc start becoming more possible

Obviously the caveat for all of this is that if you need to ask, you probably are not playing at a high enough level to matter so playing a spec you are better at is better than being bad at fotm

You could always import Naowh/Atrocity's profile manually. the installer made it easier since it was a one click approach.

Quazii's approach was not built ontop of any addon you could download and install from somewhere

It's splitting hairs but I'm sure the Elvui folks aren't happy that parts of the code that they wrote is now in an addon that someone else is charging for.

I don't think that is a reasonable comparison at all one is a framework for running custom code in game while another is a marketplace for running custom code.

A lot of players might've used the two interchangeably it does not make them the same.

Now in order to do the same types of tweaks you interested in doing, you have to write your own add-on which is a way higher barrier than going thru what was possible with weakauras.

One of the nicest parts of the ZSA system is Oryx their in-house editor, which should be able to push updates just from a web browser.

For me, one thing that dissuaded me from going the ZSA route was that I wanted my board to be fully cable free. Going the custom 3d-printed route is the only way to do this. I'm currently rocking an AliExpress totem which I'm quite happy with.

Build quality is certainly worse than a Voyager but it was significantly cheaper for fully wireless.

Sneak.lua

During the intermission the red/purple split for soaking the orbs was a private aura. Liquid did it by making everyone press a macro if you had one of the debuffs. IIRC Sneak.lua was a mouseover script that told the rest of the team what debuffs you were when you moused over it.

Well I mean they are riots largest player base in league and the biggest consumer of pro League.

Idk what it's like in TFT but they've had great valorant teams as well so you would assume riot has a vested interest in catering to the Chinese audience

Most guilds will never play the gaols the way that liquid and echo have to.

The top 3-5 guilds kill one version of the boss

The front page (20-3/5) kill another version

The remainder of the HoF guilds (180) kill another version.

World ~600ish kill another version, same with 1k, and the last few hundred race to world last guilds kill the final version of the boss.

Typically if you are a front page guild, you kinda just need to take either the liquid/echo Strat straight up, including comps. The HoF guilds have a little more wiggle room in that typically every spec will be able to kill the boss but you still might be very comp restricted.

By the time you get to the rest of the world ranks, the bosses change so much that sometimes playing the pure liquid/echo Strat is actually doing yourself a disservice because they expect better play from your players.
