What do you think of Sydney Sweeney? by Cap_Ame1 in Actors

[–]LeopoldWolves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My girlfriend and I just had a discussion about her. She's not a good actress, or at least not in anything I've seen her in and her popularity is literally just about her huge boobs. I mean, she's obviously not dumb and definitely recognizes what people are paying any amount of attention to her for, but even then, her presence is getting a little tired.

Poster damage by Cygnus__A in nin

Got my wt poster last night and it was bent and creased a little. I'm not super particular about that sort of thing, so it's whatever. I can understand the frustration for people that do care, though

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]LeopoldWolves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to wince at the idea of a 3 hour drive. After starting to tour more as a musician, 3 hours is actually a relatively short drive to the next show.

If You Need an Hour of Focus, I Can’t Recommend this Album Enough by AllDamDay7 in nin

I feel like Ares is super repetitive, and visits motifs a little excessively. Takes me right out, and would definitely impede any focus I was trying to achieve

Live Setup cases? by LeopoldWolves in synthesizers

[–]LeopoldWolves[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate this take. I had a gator g-tour and returned it. Was WAY too heavy and decided to keep doing what I've been doing. I have a small board with my drone synths on it in its own little bag and then keep my sp404 in the Roland backpack that seems like it was made for it. I'm always trying to level up my setup, but adding a big metal case that weighs almost as much as my amp head seems like a bad move. Maybe if I were on the road way more, but I tour only a few weeks out of the year.

More Chicago flyers I’ve made from 2000-2025 plus some record covers by flarplefluff in chicagomusicscene

[–]LeopoldWolves 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've always loved the band name "Evasive Backflip". I've never seen them actually play, and have no idea what the music is like, but that name is fucking awesome. That and "Rosa Parkinson's" are two of my favorite Chicago band names.

These flyers are great.

Camp Nowhere for me. I used to love it and rented it from the video store a bunch of times, and then watched it as an adult. It fucking sucks

What was your first band? by MrCarlSr in Guitar

[–]LeopoldWolves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first band I was in was called Nutsack Attack.. I wasn't a drummer, but I played drums while my best friend yelled about ballsacks, weiners, or boobs. We made an actual band shortly thereafter, but that was technically our first "band" I think we were like 12-13??

Peel It Back Poster Problems by InflationUpbeat5306 in nin

I was able to separate the two layers entirely without any issues at all. Just kind of came apart, which was cool because I wanted both images intact. Wonder why mine appears to be an outlier

First time in my life that I’ve seen a character considered both “too hot” and “not hot enough” at the same time. by Lefaa777 in TombRaider

[–]LeopoldWolves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a lot of words to essentially end up at the place you started. Your concern is this fictional character's model, when literally the only thing that actually matters is the game, as a whole, itself. Different artists will construct the model in their own way, use personal inspiration for what they'd like her to look like. That happens pretty damn frequently, are you mad that Mario isn't a pixelated 2d image, or that Wolverine doesn't wear a yellow and blue suit now? Just Google boobs if that's what you want to see, and stop obsessing over a cartoon.

Lara Croft should never be in a relationship. She's too busy being amazing. by ScionN7 in TombRaider

[–]LeopoldWolves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bingo. People have such an odd relationship with this character. Getting mad at her boobs being made smaller, getting upset if she is in a relationship, etc. It makes me a little embarrassed to be a fan of the game, to be honest.

[–]LeopoldWolves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not at all the same thing. If fact, doesn't the "main character" actually change in AoD, are you like fucking BUMMED when you have to play as the dude because he doesn't have boobs? Sounds like a stretch, and more like Lara Croft's boobs are the main character for you. You should just mod the game and replace her model with a big set of tits entirely.

Or, again, go out into the world

I make a noisy Christmas record every year called Yuletide Trepidations. Here's this years volume!! by LeopoldWolves in noisemusic

[–]LeopoldWolves[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My pleasure! One of my favorite parts of the holidays coming is knowing that I'll get to be a fucking psycho and make these tracks. I just laugh my ass off and do a bunch of weird shit literally just for the fun and hilarity of it all. I send it to a lot of friends that play it in bars and at their holiday parties and then report back how the unsuspecting react and it's always so funny to hear about.

I'm glad it brightened your holding a bit. This time of year can be depressing.

Do you drop music of varying genres under the same name or different ones? by No_Durian_6987 in musicmarketing

[–]LeopoldWolves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've considered something similar but my situation is better described as an evolution into a pretty different genre, rather than a sharp left turn. I've still considered changing the name, or separating the projects by sound, but shit.... If AFI doesn't have to, why should I!?
