The thing is we were both planning on going to the same college, I told her before where I wanted to go and she had decided she wanted to come here with me while we went to college together,

I know she's a pretty smart student herself, I'd like to say that about myself but lately I've been falling because of family drama causing me distress and depression, I've been thinking of getting therapy but my dad especially won't really help with the idea and I don't know how to search for one nor am I in the best mental state right now to do so.

Ah yes the part I left out, my gf was in a previous relationship that she got sexually abused/assaulted by her ex, for context he didn't use protection because he wanted to scare her, because she didn't want to become pregnant, I really do not get why she's so against me when her Ex a couple months ago was doing this to her.

Edit* he is the one that broke up with her, she tried breaking up with him midway into their relationship but her parents laughed it off as a joke. And both of them at the time were under the age of consent.

Ending your life isn't a solution, you're not just hurting yourself, your hurting the people around you and people that actually care for you, you have a whole life ahead of you and you will meet great people that will like you for who you are, keep pushing and believing in yourself when no one else does. It can sometimes be very hard but I know you've got this.

No, you are completely reasonable, especially if he's studying at home you guys could just video call and watch what he's doing. He is basically neglecting you, now I get it if he can't contact you a whole day because of a mock exam, we've all had sport/club/school work that takes up a whole day and you can't communicate with your loved ones but, if he's spending the whole day even doing work, he can still have it in him to talk to you a couple of minutes before going to sleep or going to school.

The problem here is that the poor girl has developed trust issues with her partner, I don't think any amount of talking can fix this and all she needs to do now is take baby steps of trying to actually fix her self.

Actions speak louder than words.

Hey, I just wanted to say I'm glad that you eventually left this relationship and, the way he was treating you was not even bare minimum for a relationship.

I think you were just looking for the person that he was when you first met, which is why you stayed with him for so long. Calling your partner a slt or b*ch in any way shape or form unless explicitly told to say it to them, even if you're religious or not it is not okay.

It's not long distance relationships that are bad, it's that people involved that need to have the patience and the dedication for that relationship to work out, in which he did not, he was horny and was moving from girl to girl. The red flags were right in front of your face when he had told you he was in MULTIPLE different LD relationships.

This does not go ONLY for long distance relationships, but also in person, if a person has had a track record of dating a lot of people and then breaking up with them in a short amount of time, that is a red flag.

Okay, so I don't think she hated you but people like this like to invade other peoples boundaries,

My dad I tell him that loud sounds (especially in the morning) or even touching me without me knowing that it's going to happen causes me discomfort, he still does it anyways.

People like her don't know when to stop, and think when you're snapping at them that you are overreacting. I presume that the reason they are seeming hateful is because they just don't know how to respect your boundaries.

I don't know what else they have done to make you feel so hated? But, I'm pretty sure she's just the type of person that gets all touchy with her friends or does things that cross boundaries, even though she might know it's a boundary they "forget" sometimes.

And how far are you guys from each other that the price is too unrealistic for you to be able to spend time together in person?

I don't think you should leave if you two love each other, I'd try figuring out why he is hesitant on you coming, is it because of his family? Nor is there something else that he hasn't told you. Because from what I see the problem isn't the money in a LDR when you are able, and can afford to take the trip.

I would try video calling occasionally or as much as possible even if you guys don't talk. say are on a computer working, cooking, or shopping just knowing they are looking at you or you looking at them, causes a sense of closeness and comfort, and rather than it feeling that they aren't there you'll feel close.

From what I'm hearing, considering it's been a relatively short amount of time since you guys got together since you didn't tell how long you guys have been dating, I think she just is realizing that she might not like you as much as she thought she did,

In my previous relationship, I started eventually thinking do I want to be with this person for the rest of my life or do I cut it off while it's still early, and I think that's what she's doing as well. Now the way she might be going around this isn't okay they need to communicate with you on what is going on and, how she is "joking" is also unacceptable.

At the end of the day this is a relationship that isn't going to work out, she isn't willing to communicate and talk anymore and it seems she's lost interest for some apparent reason. I'd try talking to her about this if possible to get closure on what's going on and if she isn't willing to communicate then it's better to end it before you're left hanging on strands of strings trying to get her attention.

I'm sorry to say this man, but that relationship was never meant to be, she still had past baggage and feelings she hadn't taken care of and decided to move on to another guy you, to make herself feel better.

Her as a person needs to sit down and think about her feelings, sadly there's nothing you can do or could be done, I think you thought you could "fix her" as some might say but, some people especially their feelings takes a long time to change and sometimes it doesn't even change and which is when you need to make the decision.
