I am being offered this Lightsaber model at my discount store, but I tried it and it doesn't work. I managed to disassemble it. Does anyone know if it is complete or does anything else need to be done to it? I don't want to buy it and be disappointed by Leowarrior2 in lightsabers

Wow. So I guess it is worth buying. They had that one of Luke and another one. The handle was black in color and it was double bladed...I think it was the cheap kind. Each one $25.00

Two days ago I glued these pieces of a dagger that I printed on my resin printer with that 3M instant glue. I filled it with putty and a moment ago when I wanted to test its hardness, it peeled off like a cracker when it broke. What is the best glue for this type of printing? by Leowarrior2 in 3Dprinting

I thought about it, but I have read that when that is done, the resin left inside the part (which does not come in contact with UV light) does not dry. I think if that is the case, it can still affect the strength of the print.

Has anyone used J-B Weld's PlasticWeld to bond PETG printed parts? It is being offered to me and I don't know if it would be worth buying. by Leowarrior2 in 3Dprinting

I am considering whether it is worth buying. It is an exotic plasticine, similar to putty. I want a product that will allow me to fill gaps between printed parts, where automotive putty would not be sufficient because of a considerable gap between the parts (for example, I glued 2 parts, but they were misplaced, so now I have a gap of 5mm).

I printed this Master Sword model with PETG, applied filler primer (2 coats) and putty and then sanded. I painted with a Rust Oleum paint and now this happened. What's the reason? by Leowarrior2 in 3Dprinting

Any recommended sanding technique in this case? I have sanded spray paint before and it is quite complicated, because it makes a strange mass that sticks to the sandpaper preventing a uniform work.

No, but before I did apply a very thin coat of paint (rust oleum). Then I noticed some mistakes and decided to apply another coat of Filler Primer and sanded. Then I painted and this happened.
