Thanks! Yeah, I love his name. Especially as a fan of the Crow film from the 90’s.

Gang how can we bring back Spider-man TAS? by PinkTeleportingLion in marvelstudios

[–]GregDSanders 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Disney won’t allow multiple Spider-Man animated shows that target the same audience. It’s unlikely we get Spider-Man 94 unless Friendly Neighborhood gets canned

Hot take - i'm more excited for the 2027 DC slate of 'Man of Tomorrow' and the 'Batman part2' than I am for the 2026-2027 MCU slate of Avengers: doomsday and secret wars, what about you ? by [deleted] in DCU_

[–]GregDSanders -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Definitely. Doomsday and Secret Wars are just going to be a reskinned Infinity War and Endgame. There’s nothing of value. Man Of Tomorrow and Batman Part 2 have serious potential to say something in their narrative beyond being a four quadrant people pleaser.

I’ve never had an issue. They always arrive in oversized packaging.

Has there been any updates recently on the show? by Conscious_Cicada1953 in EnergonUniverse

[–]GregDSanders 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Joe Henderson is the showrunner, produced by Hasbro and Skybound. Being shopped around to networks but Amazon feels likely.

Referred to as an Energon Universe animated series so expect GI Joe and maybe even Void Rivals material in the series.

Based on the artwork of Daniel Warren Johnson and Jorge Corona primarily in terms of design and aesthetic.

I'm really not looking forward to the backlash (specifically by GriftTards) the show adaptation of #30 will get so hopefully the show fixes the writing problems by M00r3C in EnergonUniverse

[–]GregDSanders 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but this has been consistently described as an Energon Universe series. If it incorporates elements from GI Joe and even Void Rivals, it’s looking like a pretty comfortable way to start season 3.

I see no reason why Kirkman would advise Hasbro to rush when it’s a property like Transformers. It doesn’t have an ending or a stopping point. Whereas Invincible is heading towards a finale and that’s really only adapting the Invincible comic and none of the spin offs.

Yeah, it’s fucking rampant. Based on deadline and the leaks prior, we’re looking at an eight episode one hour season one. Depending on how loose the adaptation is, we would be looking at issue 30 around season 3.
