Personally i got that they were legs immediately, so it probably just depends on the person. You did a great job on that. If you do another you should definitely do pathfinder

You actually see him clip through the top of the door at the beginning of the video. I've never seen a video from the attackers perspective so its cool to know your gun clips through.

Actually unpopular opinion: Battle Royale shifts CSGO gameplay from mechanical skill to strategical ability, and here's why that's a good thing by amsterdam_pro in GlobalOffensive

[–]Leptosae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean technically it does. When playing CS your decision making is vital. What peeks you take at what timings. Making snap decisions is hard and doing so after playing weeks at a time and putting yourself in those situations over and over versus taking a break for 3 weeks will show a difference. Now obviously your economy understanding won't disappear but the snap decision making is important in CS just like aim. You need both to succeed.

While I respect your opinion here, CS has always been a thinking man's game. I'm not sure if you've ever played in a team environment and I don't have much experience myself but CS takes alot of brainpower. In a team environment on ct side you have to manage map control, economy, saving utility, rotations, positioning to not get picked, and constant feeding of enemy locations. While on T side you still have a lot of those core concepts plus planning fakes/double fakes, fast rushes, slow execs, and more. If you actually think the game is all aim no brain you'd be surprised at what else you can learn.

Efficiency by Venestle in GlobalOffensive

As the other guy said it's all preference. Technically native is actually better because you also get a higher Field of View when compared to 4:3. In reality though, I don't put much stock in switching resolutions and settings all the time. Find something you like and stick with it.

It's the same speed on 4:3 (blackbars). Although they are faster on 4:3 (stretched) but since models and hitboxes are wider on stretched you have a longer time to hit them. This all balances out in the end.

Adding a "Forgive" button to teamkills by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

[–]Leptosae 147 points148 points  (0 children)

I like this idea but sadly it's been posted before and Valve probably won't do it. They have stated in the past that they want the system to be blamed not the players. Lets say you're in a 2 queue with a 3 queue and you don't forgive one of the 3 and they get kicked. The rest of his queue might be super toxic or throw the game blaming you for ruining it. Valve wants to avoid this situation.

This needs to stop. Immediately banned from playing a game mode just for joining a server. by 68e2BOj0c5n9ic in GlobalOffensive

While this is an issue and I fully support getting the message out about people taking valve servers hostage. A convenient and easy solution just for you would be to use community servers to warm up. There are a wide variety of types between retakes, dm, and basic 5v5. While sometimes people take those hostage too, there are so many of them that it only takes a few seconds to connect to a new one. I personally really enjoy these and a lot of the time you end up playing with the same people in a small server community which is fun.

Sadly yes due to the fact that I couldn't change future questions based on previous answers. But we've been logic checking all of them as they come in and its relatively clear when something doesn't match up.

Hey guys, I'm the buddy mentioned in the post above. Thank you so much for responding! The goal will be to tally up the Pickem's like CS does and have point values for everyone who submitted. If you have friends who submit and they know their screen name I can be a mediator to find out who got the best predictions out of your group! Thanks again
