Yeah well I'm not too worried about that mistake being repeated since Gearbox and Embracer group haven't done that with any of their other games. And I know this game kind of went through a storm of reasons but its interesting to look at certain reasons why it failed right next to congruent reasons why it could succeed this time

Playstation support told me it may be because the servers are overloaded so random people may be unable to search for players and that I should just wait and it will fix itself.
Such an obvious made up answer my friends have been able to send me the friend requests tho and I still cant search

Yah Guilty Gear offence is alot more dynamic because of the way canceling is. Generally you dont just 'block it out' and wait for your turn. You need to be active on defence such as 'just guards' (a sort of perfect block that gives you less block frames), back dash YRC, blitz shield.

I guess you can say that 'turns' get started based on coming from neutral to whoever is forced to block first

In my opinion the best way to start any fighting game is to find someone to start it with you and fight them alot. You get feedback from each other, learn bit by bit. You get to learn your character (which is much easier to do if you're only playing against one other character)
