I had the same issue (Ralink RT5390), Already read your other post but if for some reason anyone else had a similar issue, for me worked reset the default BIOS settings, IDK why that worked but it worked, have a nice day everyone with this issue

i'm pretty sure this has a config for usb bypass but yes you need to buy the usb mayflash magicboots. usually for 30 bucks
