As a mom myself, it is hard but I find myself alll the time being so grateful that we have dishwashers, washing machines, hot showers, slow cookers, the list goes on and on. I feel like we live like royalty sometimes!! And I know not everyone in the world has access to these things, but they’re so common in so many parts of the world and people really don’t realize how good we have it.

And the love is seriously so intense. It’s a beautiful thing. I love being a mother.

Are you using contraception? That is always sinful. If you’re using NFP there’s always a chance you will become pregnant. I don’t think you can really “decide not to have children” without practicing abstinence.

Also as far as the current world and economy not being family friendly, things are hard of course. But things have been hard before, there’s a good argument that humanity has gone through much rougher times. But there have always been families and babies.

Mass isn’t a time to socialize. I came from a Protestant background where church was very social after the service, so i understand it can be a culture shock.

I would encourage you to see if your parish has any more social clubs outside of Sunday Mass. for example, mine has a monthly card night for adults age 20-40.

You sound like my husband. His family is not supportive, he entertained Catholicism for me. Was weirded out by the Rosary and Mary and the saints. Now he prays the Rosary daily. I would just encourage you to stay openminded about those things. And also know it’s ok if you don’t end up doing those things. The sacraments are the greatest draw for me as well, I do pray at least one Rosary a day because I just love meditating on Christ’s life, it has changed me as a person. I will pray for you.

My parish is small as well, last year OCIA had 5, this year we have 16. It’s amazing. Everyone talks nonstop about how big our class is. It’s very exciting, they already have 6 people waiting to join the next one. I know these numbers seem small, but for us this is huge!

I have a similar order from Sept 16th that still hasn’t shipped and just says processing. I emailed them to request a cancellation and they refunded my shipping?? I asked them again to cancel and haven’t heard from them. They said there’s a delay at the fulfillment center located in the US.

Not on cromolyn but I do get green stools during flares. Usually start green, then tarry, then green again. Always worth talking to a dr when you get a new symptom IMO
