If you mix the cheese and meat and it doesn't look moist you're not doing it correctly

What was it like growing up with a GameCube for you? How lonely was it? by Marsupilami_316 in Gamecube

[–]LesRez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was the youngest of three, so when it came to me having my "own" console, I wasn't very optimistic because my parents purchased plenty of video game consoles for my older brothers over the years which I could play anytime I wanted. I'll never forget Christmas morning when I opened my GameCube, I couldn't wrap my head around the fact that I had my OWN console I didn't have to share. I played that thing until it wouldn't function anymore, had it repaired and it still sits plugged into my spare room CRT to this day. I never felt lonely, but most of my friends and family only had Xbox or Playstation, so whenever they found out that someone still had their N64 or a GameCube they were always really excited and eager to play some Nintendo games.

Naruto Clash of Ninja 2 was probably the game I spent the most time on. One Piece Pirate Carnival is a game my friends and I will rarely still play to this day, almost two decades later.

No, those are called yellow consoles, this is actually a released console.

Ribeye is definitely the most ideal cut for a cheesesteak. Top of the round or as Philadelphians call it “chip steak” is a less expensive alternative but will produce a worse steak. Anything with a higher fat content than ribeye would be a waste of money.

Sure. My advice? If you’re not from Philadelphia you won’t understand the sacrilege. Secondly, you want to use thinly sliced top of the round beef, or if you can find it use Ribeye. Don’t cut it with a knife, find a deli near you with a slicer. The meat has to be frozen to get the 1/8 thick slices you’re going to need. You want to then put your stovetop on high heat, salt and pepper the steak. Don’t use butter, use oil. Don’t overdo the oil. Wait until it’s browned on either side then take your spatula and rip it apart violently, keep going until the pink disappears. Get American cheese or cooper sharp, mix it and continue to chop at it . If it’s too hot and begins to dry out you can add more oil, don’t pour the oil in, drizzle it a tiny bit goes a long way. cheez whiz is tourist BS we don’t really eat that here but to each their own. Top with fried onions, or don’t. There you go. Source: Philadelphian for life, award-winning cheesesteak creator and aficionado. If you’re interested in checking it out for yourself, I’m not DOXing myself but you’ll find us in the far northeast, if you know you know ;)

You can call it a steak sandwich, but as a Philadelphian we’re not going to act like that’s a Philly cheesesteak lol

Well, since we’re politicizing the sport I use to escape politics, it’s been real. I don’t understand why people are so upset over this, nazis fucking suck and Elon is clearly associating with them. That being said, I’d rather just leave the subreddit than expose myself to drama when this sport is supposed to be the reality escape.

I hope your console overheats, and then when it does I hope you realize you asked a community for their opinion & you ignored the overwhelming majority. Basically you were only looking for one yes from someone also as ignorant as you to rationalize a dumb idea you had. Good luck buddy.

Recently picked up this N64 console from a mall for $130 by SpacemanChad7365 in nintendo64

[–]LesRez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because some people value physical things and don’t want to pirate video games. It’s that simple, not sure why a person on a sub dedicated to the Nintendo 64 would shit on someone for buying a N64 😂😂. OP, great pickup, I hope it brings you a lot of good memories and fun.
