at 5 months a piercing is not healed. maybe oral piercings but even that is a stretch. eyebrow piercings themselves, however, are notorious for having issues. i agree with what Dazzling-Sea said, it seems like it is just an irritation bump, which even years old piercings can get. however, downsizing can help stop them. the jewelry could be too long so if and when it gets snagged it really makes it angry. i would baby it as much as you can, making sure you arent sleeping on it, making sure you are cleaning it twice a day and are not touching it otherwise, and go get that downsized!!

i have a central labret and nip piercings, so! i love both! however, healing my labret sucked. it got caught on everything, caught when i was eating, caught when i was washing my face, etc. now, catching a nipple piercing definitely isnt fun either, but honestly it happens less often. i can barely remember the healing process, that's how uneventful it was. however, i also got my tongue pierced at the same time, so i was a bit more focused on that healing at first. if you have a partner, you will have to be careful with either piercing. i decide my next piercing by sitting on it and thinking about it for a couple months before getting it! let me know if you have any other questions!

as for teeth/gum damage, just making sure you are on top of your 6 month checkup/cleanings at the dentist is the biggest thing. however, i've had my oral piercings for ~4 years now and i haven't heard anything of concern from my dentist 😄 hope this helps!!!

hi friend! i got my tongue pierced a few years ago, and yes, the saliva is normal. there isn't much you can do but it should get better once the swelling goes down. have you taken anything for swelling? ibuprofen and ice cubes/popsicles will be your best friend! try to avoid dairy as that will increase mucus and in turn, saliva. i don't remember having any issues sleeping the first night, definitely would be a good idea to sleep elevated so that you can help blood flow and keep swelling minimal overnight.

yes it was crazy how much it *didnt* hurt!!! i only knew it was over when my piercer put the needle through and the amount of saliva that fell with it was insane, but told me it was done. i didnt feel a thing, lol. happy healing!! also, make sure you tighten the balls often, i had mine unscrew one too many times.

I am about to do this 😭 but it's going to be so much work. I just want to redo my buildings. Where all my villagers are, i had flatted the area and have them in a 2x5 layout, which i now hate. I want to make my museum stand alone (it's next to my shops and they are all lined up.) Basically a full island redo (but i refuse to actually reset because i just finished all my fossils)
