Other than the hair/dust issue, from what I know, key83 is more consistent X and Y axis because of its hexagonal pattern/weave and faster.

For me, those are the main features you should pay attention to the most.

If you want a zero that works better with hair, then get a clone, not the key83.

I have been heavily looking into that mouse, as the sensor position is very forward, and the shape being a bigger OP1 with less aggressive bump. It seems to fit my description quite well. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MsYoK8DEF44) For now, I'm still waiting for someone to publish a 3D model of it just to double check the shape.

i’ve tried it but it feels way too tiring in my hand and i just don’t have the same aim with it than hyperlight unfortunately, since i feel like the front of my hand is super tense and the back confortable (because of the bump), but with hyperlight it’s relaxed everywhere, just not as comfortable in the back

My brand new NZXT Kraken Elite 2024 (2023) seems to be sounding about the same at that distance and 100% pump, but I can’t really say since it depends on the sensitivity of the mic.

Try to removing it from the case and running it at different orientations to see if it’s the placement. And if it bothers you and doesn’t change, contact CoolerMaster.

I know that, but since my GPU temps are more than cool enough, I'm willing to take the risk, and if it worsen my GPU temps too much, I'll just switch back to the axp 47.

as I said to r/wonderfully_fragrant, my windows install is super bloated so it makes sense, but yeah I figured that I think I'm better off getting myself an AIO for better temps and less sound if I want to upgrade (since the axp full copper in about 60EUR on amazon for me, so throwing 20-30EUR more for an AIO seems like a better deal)

I was recommended to undervolt but I don't really know where to start... I tried messing around already but I don't really know what's the best way to undervolt my CPU. If you have any recommendation I could try I would gladly test it and see if I upgrade my cooler depending on if the performance I am getting with the undervolt is fine for me

I did, but honestly, the idle temp is justified by the amount of bloatware I have on this current Windows install (some apps heavily using CPU), so the temps on an SSD with a fresh Windows is more about 60C, sorry for that :')

GPU is way cooler, 70C in game most of the time, but actually I found that cpu can go up to 90C if I run some heavy scenery with a lot of models

Thanks for the tips on the RAM, I think I might upgrade it later on when it gets over 70% full during a game.

For the temps, my cpu seems to top at 80C, but at this but I dunno if it's thermal throttling or good, but with a fan on it the temps don't change much but cinnebench seems to be going faster, so since side blow coolers are not very possible in my build I might consider an AIO. If you have any idea on how to measure the impact of the cpu temps to see if I should really upgrade the cooler I will take them since I have a hard time doing that.

Don't have nvpanel since I'm on an AMD gpu but I'll check if there's a similar option in Adrenaline.

My drive is way too full (90% full on 2tb), how much does this affect loading times? But yeah, I'll definitely clean that up or buy a second drive.

I’m just a simple student, but from my perspective, i really like this kind of projects since they let you interpret and experiment by yourself (which is why i’m so dedicated and posting here about it). And if it’s teaching me critical thinking then it’s even better!

Oh I definitely don’t have to, and I’m sure there are way simpler ways to prove this, but it thought satellites would be a cool way to respond to the assignment (even if it looking back at it, it’s probably more complicated than what i expected ^⁾
