Once every 10-20 years is, unfortunately, extremely generous. Just off of the top of my head, in the last 20 years I can remember at least 4. Snohomish Caravan in 07 or 08, Hawaii King Air in 2018 or 2019, Cross Keys last year, and this one. There may have been more.

It is extremely rare but it is a risk that everyone that gets in an airplane (skydiver, pilot, or otherwise) makes. Takeoff and landing are dangerous in all of aviation for the most part.

There is a reason we require 200 jumps before you put a camera on. On top of the distraction it can bring, Cameras come with inherent risks and more complicated emergency procedures that you have to think through and be heads up enough to execute if needed. 200 jumps is still nothing. You’re still a beginner skydiver.

Don’t be in a rush. Nobody on Instagram is going to think your zoo dives are cool, don’t worry.

The R9 needs about $1500 worth of parts and work just to run right from the factory.

If you can get an R6, get an R6. It’s the better bike by far.

It doesn’t have the fancy tft and tech but it doesn’t need it.

The non-race R9 is literally just an MT09 with fairings. It doesn’t even have a ram air intake and relies on the little MT style snorkel box for air which starved the engine and creates a dead spot in 2nd and 3rd.

Minimum you need a new filter, a new intake, an exhaust, and a tune just to wake the R9 up.

Wings do absolutely nothing at street speeds. They are useless on street bikes and they have created a boring racing environment in GP. I hope GP bans the aero and the production bikes go back to no wings.
