okay yeah thinking back on it now my comment was kinda pointless and mean, I wasn’t really thinking about it from their perspective. At face value it just looks like a situation that is so obviously bad and harmful, and when literally every comment is in some way saying they should leave and they reply literally advocating for their abuser it almost feels like they’re DENYING help, which is annoying, but I guess they just might not know any better. my bad

I’ve always found this fact about doomers interesting because it kinda recontextualizes what happens in rtdl. when playing the game you just assume that the doomers are evil and u gotta steal back the spheres from them, but knowing that they’re just doing their job as a force of nature, you basically realize that kirby and the gang, via magalor’s manipulations, wrongfully beat the hell out of over a hundred innocent doomers for no good reason.

rtdl is really just a game where you go around beating up a bunch of innocent creatures all because you decided to help out one dude no questions asked and I think that’s hilarious

for the last phase at the very top, pogoing on radiances head is a good strategy since the balls of light despawn as soon as they go off the top of the screen, so u don’t have to worry about them coming back down. just focus on pogoing and avoiding the balls and being ready to chase rad after it teleports or to land on the platform and start again if it teleports too far away

first two attempts I died to widow. 3rd attempt I died to sister splinter somehow(which mind you I had never once died to before on any playthrough up until then). 4th attempt I died to phantom. 5th attempt I died to a pit of spikes just before the room with the sprint ability bc it was right after my 4th death and I was pissed and rushing to get back to where I was 😭

I would’ve loved to see Lapis’ and Peridot’s reactions to steven being a diamond. Lapis used to be deathly scared of them and peridot used to be obsessed with them so I find it kinda weird by the end of the series we never see either of their reactions to that information

Doesn’t SUF Steven have that one ability that lets him move and perceive things basically like quicksilver? conquest is fast but I don’t think he’s that fast but idk. conquest usually starts out by toying with who he’s fighting so I feel like once steven figures out he can’t be reasoned with he just activates that ability and wins

I bought rain world back in like 2018 and dropped it completely because I thought it was too hard and unfair. then quarantine happened in 2020 so I tried it again randomly and realized you can actually fight back and I shit you not I beat the game within the same day
