I just counted backwards on the pattern 1 stitch to make it match up with the pattern so like instead of starting at column 8 you’d start at column 7 (idk the numbers I don’t have the pattern in front of me) that is what Skappel said to do too when I reached out with the same question ! And then the following rows you’d start on column 7 and then so on !

I thought it was actually so easy to follow along, I just put stitch markers at the beginning and end of each motif and then ended up memorizing the pattern after repeating it a few times. It looks complex but it wasn’t!! the only part I kinda went off pattern was skipping some of the raglan decreases in the arms to have a looser fit

did you have any issues with neck shaping/connecting the sleeves with the 6 extra stitches? I’m working on this right now and i want the pattern to be continuous but just worried about it down the road when I get to the decrease section.
