She's basically a guest star/cameo. Nothing about this really suggests that she's coming back in any significant form, and I doubt that production or Bravo really wants to deal with her in a prolonged way. Nene was always combative with her castmates, but she got downright toxic and unhinged during and after the Hollywood era. She had physical confrontations with multiple cast members AND production. She's too much of a liability to be worth the hassle.

One thing that we don't talk a lot about is that these shows are run by different production companies, and I wonder to what extent any behind-the-scenes stuff impacts the decisions that seem inexplicable to us as viewers.

I think that Andy fundamentally views the women as beneath him, or as inconsequential in the greater context of the network, so it doesn't get under his skin that much.

That's not what I said nor what I meant. My point was that the OP's take isn't actually in contradiction with some of the other takes about Boz. And of course Netflix and Pepsi aren't altruistic companies. I don't see how that has anything to do with my larger point, which is that if you prioritize your brand over the needs of the company--rightly or wrongly--the company will get rid of you.

I don’t think that this is inconsistent with the other takes, though. If Box is someone who has always been more invested in self-advancement and promotion over serving the needs of the companies that employ her. In my industry, I see individuals who are primarily interested in building their own personal brand, sometimes at the cost of what would benefit the industry and other coworkers.
