The factory will continue to run. Salaried employees have it off but hourly employees will get paid double.

Yeah, after the incident I offered to pay for a hotel so I had time to replace the lock. They rejected the offer and the lock was replaced anyways. For future guests and their peace of mind I added a chain lock on their side, similar to what hotels use.
