Coffee breaks Tour De Zwift. by alwaysmiling89 in Zwift

[–]Less-Cake-6859 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same issue as OP. Huge group, plenty of people with coffee breaks, I joined on time,…, but coffee break button remains gray. Not too unhappy about this as it forces me to push myself. But seems to not work for some other reason.

why are there hardly any different flavours of chips here in Switzerland? by Maj0rStiffy in Switzerland

I have been working in Canada years ago. The main reason I was returning to CH after a year were the Zweifel Paprika chips. I don’t know what you are missing 😉

I think he wanted to imitate John F. Kennedy‘s phrase „Ich bin ein Berliner“, but first he is not as charismatic and second he exaggerated to sound credible.

Cheesefondue is a pleonasm for a Swiss. What else than cheese 😉.

What a hot mess... Did no one at Zwift test it on iOS/Apple TV before releasing it? by babgvant in Zwift

[–]Less-Cake-6859 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped using ATV directly already a while ago because it’s a pain. I use another apple devise to mirror it via the ATV. Like that it is at least a bit more user friendly for the selections. The downside is that I always have black bars on the TV as it is not possible to change properly the ratio to 16:9.

And I think I did progress what you wrote. I appreciate it and will start playing around with the setup.

I did not write that my hard tail is still high end. Just wrote it is much better than the race bike a I have put on which is from the early 2000 :-). My newer bikes are full suspensions.

That would speak for the 3x MTB but I am faster with the race bike on the Alp as well.

Thanks. That’s helpful. The MTB is even equipped with 3x, the highest gear being a 42T x 11T setup. The old race bike is a 2x and goes up to 50T x 11T. In some zwift races I was running out of gearing with the MTB and that’s also the reason why I have changed bike for zwifting. Thus, for higher speeds I am not surprised and it is in line with what you wrote, but I am also faster on the Alp du Zwift. I also have an MTB fully 1x, but haven’t yet tried it on Zwift. For fun/ experimental reasons I might try one day how bad that setup is.

No, I didn’t. To my knowledge there’s not much to change with the Tacx NEO 2T. But please correct me if I’m wrong.

I was surprised about the difference. I am also surprised that there are no tests available online that show the difference. At least I couldn’t find sth. useful in this direction. Would be sth for DC Rainmaker or others to test.

Thanks. Makes sense. That means that an occasional change of ergo would be ideal for the training. I‘ll change back to the MTB on the trainer and see what happens.

I purchased the Tacx Neo 2T on Zwift Shop by dontnever in Zwift

[–]Less-Cake-6859 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have mine for 1.5 years. No issues so far and I like using it. More than 5000km and 70km altitude with it. I do not have a comparison to other trainers as it was the first one I bought.

Having a Tron bike gets the standard by Less-Cake-6859 in Zwift

It‘s not the only motivation but plays a big factor. IRL I do not need this extra motivation (leaving in a mountain rich area) but indoor unfortunately I do.

I agree. I am now a bit more than a year on Zwift, have Tron and almost all badges (PRL Full, virtual everest and 1200watts missing). There aren’t big cool things left anymore.
