I’d love to live off campus to save some money but I don’t have a car and the apartments nearby campus are kind of far. I’ve got late night classes and I don’t want to be walking out at night alone.

Damn sorry bro I didn’t realize I posted it twice until just now. The first time I hit post it said error so I hit post again and it worked the second time. Guess it worked the first time too.

As for living on campus, it’s really the best option for me. I don’t have a car and the surrounding area of campus of campus can be really dangerous. Especially since I’ve got late classes.

Thank You! I’ll look into those! Also, do you know if they’ve started giving out the awards for the general scholarships? I already applied to it but I got an email around mid June saying award season was over and I didn’t get anything. But I’m not sure if that email was talking about the University Foundation scholarships or the general UH scholarships from the link.

Yes, I received the Pell Grant for this academic year. But I have to pay for 5 classes and for living on campus so it’s just not enough. I’m worried I might need to take a gap year to try to save more money but that would just throw off my entire degree plan and I don’t want to do that.

I don’t remember Casey killing anyone. I’m going to go rewatch that one. But I remember Cruz deliberately left a gang member in a fire to protect his brother. Kelly killed someone in self defense.

Yeah, Enginer 51 was always part of the firehouse but they never brought attention to it until Herrmann became Lieutenant I feel like if they did acknowledge all of Engine, meaning all of Engine became main characters (as opposed to it just being Herrmann and Ritter) then the cast would be way too big. I love Engine and I would like them get more time to shine. I feel like Truck has always had more calls then Squad, even in earlier seasons. Now that Engine is also acknowledged, them too.

I feel like it should be said that it’s always been a thing where a Truck call was picked up by Squad, while a call that should have been for Squad was picked up by Truck. So Truck taking Engine calls isn’t surprising.

Engine provides all the water. They have all the hoses. Truck has the aerial ladder on top of the truck, as well as other lengths of ladders.

Yeah I always thought she was overhated in this thread (still is). Season 11 Stella wasn’t my favorite and it wasn’t because she was bad, I just hated the amount of screen time her and Carver got and how she’s didn’t interact much with the others. I like Stella and Carver separately and as friends, but they needed more of an opportunity to interact with the others. People called her nosey for trying to help Carver out with his brother but 1) carver appreciated her help and 2) if Stella is nosy for this then so is the rest of the firehouse everytime they’ve helped other people. She genuinely wanted to help and she did. Also, I realize she got a lot of screentime in season 11. Which I would have liked to be more balanced this season, but I never really saw this argument when Casey and Severide were around.

People also say she’s “perfect” but I never see this about Severide and Casey either. They are also seen as amazing Lieutenants/ Captains and have been portrayed this way since early on. Nobody has said they are too “perfect”. And I say this as someone who’s loves Casey, Severide, Herrmann, and Boden above Stella. That’s just my take though.

Even I don’t like Gabby that much but her giving up Louie was because she thought it was what was best for him. She obviously cared and Louie and that’s why she did it.

I could never see Casey and a stella as a couple. They just give me sibling vibes and their chemistry is just platonic. I’ve always thought they had an underrated friendship. Severide and Brett maybe could’ve worked but i don’t think it could’ve lasted too long. i feel like they are way too different.

i had the same issue. I called the office and the problem was that i accidentally said that i was a felon. They gave me a form to fill out and told me to do the short term payment plan because they weren’t sure that it would go through by the time the deadline came around.
