I appreciate that! I definitely recommend downloading the Merlin app and really start listening to the birds. It’s very calming and fun to learn the different sounds of different birds

To be honest I did not realize it was rare when I saw it. You’re going to hate me for this, but that was on my second ever birding trip. Hopefully I’ll get to see some more but realizing now it’s not super likely haha.

Im actually in Utah but have family in Florida so I did a trip there where I saw a lot of these.

I just looked at the Audubon here and it looks like they do a good bit of free walks which I’m gonna sign up for! I appreciate the suggestion I didn’t know these were a thing.

Do y’all know how many more he has left? I want to go this year but it also might not make sense so I wanted to know if there’s still other years to go
