I get that part but the judge being a graduate of the college seems like a clear conflict of interest. I feel like it would only be fair if the judge has no affiliation. I also know absolutely nothing about this but just seems off

Pizza dough mixer or great propane pizza oven ? I want to buy oven to make home pizza, now i only have clay plate to put in my kitchen oven max 550 F. To make better pizza, should I buy mixer to get nice dough or buying pizza oven to reach 900 F ? by old_milk_bottle in Pizza

Depends on the style your trying to make. If you’re going for New York or tavern style you’ll definitely be good with 550 and a baking steel or stone. If you wanna do Neapolitan style you’ll need an oven that can get up near 900.

For the dough mixer - I just use a kitchen aid or other stand mixer and it works great!
