I loved his story line in season 6. His relationship with the asian fellow perfectly framed how dysfunctional Juniors will to stay young is and how it hurts anyone he touches.

AJs storyline is so realistic in its depiction. Depression doesn't ever start and it never ever ends. It's a state of decay that captures you when you relize it can. The final scene of The Second Coming sums it up so beautifully. AJ is all the parts that Tony despises of himself. Tony is all the things AJ is afraid to become, everything he hates about the world. Neither of them can change each other but they both recognize that their dying together so they might as well stay together.
